Smudge is the neice of Jack and Jett. :-) I'd been trying to trap their sister since rescuing those two, but had no luck UNTIL I discovered she was pregnant, VERY pregnant, whereas I redoubled my efforts. I had named her Tre (three in Italian) as I didn't know if she was a boy or girl and she was the third kitten. Well, she gave birth in my bathroom 3 days later. Just like her brothers, she was very sweet, despite being born outside and a year old already. She let me stay with her while she gave birth. This is one of 4 that she had and she's absolutely adorable, as they all are. The rest will be up shortly.
*** Smudge (now Pixie) was adopted back in July by a wonderful family. In fact they are REALLY wonderful because just yesterday they adopted her brother Teddy!! They saw that he was still in the cage at Petco and it broke their hearts. In fact, the daughter had him on her birthday wish list and was willing to use her birthday money for the adoption fee. I covered it for her. Happy birthday and happy new home Teddy!
