Hmph! Mom and I always take a nap on Sundays We were all snuggled up and ready to take a nap when I started hearing that nasty old thunder. I was a little nervous but Mom gave me a hug and said it was okay so I got ready to take a good nap with her.

A few minutes later the rain started. This is sort of relaxing I thought, but then the rain turned into a downpour - not so relaxing.

To top it all off, we even got some hail (pea size, but it sounded really loud on the sky light). At that point, Mom and I decided we weren't supposed to take a Sunday nap and decided to hang out on the couch downstairs and watch TV instead.

I'm sorry about your nap being interrupted, Rose. There's hardly anything worse than a nap interrupted! I hope you made up for it with an extra-long nap after that.
