What a FUN day~!

Hi Efuryone~! Today wuz really super~! My mommy 'n Auntie Kathy went out to eat din din at Cotton patch 'n got cheekin fried steakiez yum, spawcial Monday'z~! Dat camera wuz out 'gain, heard dat it wuz new 'n Milo told us beware coz Auntie wuz ina camera frenzy zone lately~! MOL~! I like havin' my piccie taken though. I iz really laid back 'n furry gentle but I doez love'z to go outside~!! We had great treats, me 'n my brofur Rhett; we love our treat treat'z~! Well den when da girls got back from eatin', none o' us could go out~ Jus' coz it's dark, what? Well anyfur, dey sez iz dangerous so we not allowed. But it really wuz a FUN DAY~ All sunshine 'n super great temps~ Da grass is green 'n da burdies flyin' 'n we watchin' 'em all day long~!! We live's on 2nd floor 'n so mom leaves her balcony door open 'n we can go out dere 'n it's a pawsome good time~! Rhett is a good buddy now, but I still really miss my brofur, Timmy. We see him 'round though. I know, coz him gotta halps me out when it comes to 'teachin' our lil bro, Rhett~! Timmy wuz da best brofur, but I really gotta admit, I'z growin' more fonder eash day o' me new brofur da Rhettster~! He's quite a character~! Aunti Kathy sez I iz adorable too but I mush heavier den Rhett! Dat dood is skinny 'n so I let him eat outta me bowl 'n his bof! I know, I still a bit on da heavy side, but more o' me to love! My Brofur Timmy Tim lives on in Sweet Heaven

Hello to all my wonnerfur Catster furiends,

As U know, my furbro Timmy made his journey to da bridge last Sunday. I have been doin' ok so far. I still go outside, but I am back inside way 'fore dark. Mommy has been so sad, and da other nite her wuz tellin' me how my brofur got him wings 'n traveled furry far 'way to a really spawcial 'n pawsome purrlace called Heaven. Her tol' me not to cry, but her wuz cryin' way beyond belief! I stuck to her like glue 'n pawed her face 'n gave her kitty licks 'n kissies. Mom don't be sad purrlease, Timmy will always be wif us, I jus' know dis!~ I been layin' on da arms o' da couch where Timmy would lay. I been sleepin' on da same side o' da bed dat Timmy would sleep. I been doin' so many things dat my brofur would do. Mommy sez iz cause Timmy is still here wif me. Ya know, mom 'n Aunti Kathy sez dat us kitties can 'see' stuff most hoomans can't see. Mommy wishes her could see him too. I guess I am jus' tryin' my best to live in his shoes coz him wuz da bestest furbro anyfur could ask for~! Him taught me so mush 'n I wuz a really good lil furbro too! We were so close, 'n mom sez dat when da time comes, I will get a new baby brofur to purrlay wif. But rite now we need time to mourn.

Aunti Kathy sez her belief's in da Circle o' life, dat iz when one furbaby crosses da bridge, it gives way to another brand new furbaby to be adopted! So, adoption is da plan. In da distant future.

Last night mommy brought Timmy Tim home. He rest's on our coffee table in a cedar box wif da blanket dat da hospital wrapped 'round him. Our Christmas Angel is home. Let's all sing wif da Angel Choir in Heaven! I listened 'n I heard dem sing, Joy to the World~ It was so beautiful~!

Angels are a big big part o' our world...dat iz, we miss our furbabies so mush 'n our mommy's keep 'em in their hearts always! Fur if we always remember our fur siblin'z, dey will nefur really be gone. Dat is what mommy sez. I know Timmy Tim is still wif me. I know him visits me often, coz him don't want me to be alone. Purrs on my furbro, my bestest furiend~ Fly high 'n enjoy alla da fun times in Heaven, coz I heard 'bout dat Angel Inn~!! MOL!~ Smokey Joe, Sonny Bono, Calvin, Alfie, Raincloud, Cleo 'n alla da heavenly Angels will take goodest care o' U coz dey know Ur a most hansome Orangie Angel efur~!! U've earned Ur wings, so we know U will be soarin' high 'n makin' tonza swoops 'n sweeps 'round da beautifur Rainbows~!

I'm CAT OF THE DAY~! Whoo Wheee!!!~

Hi all me furiends!!~ I jus' can't believe it, ME, Cat of the Day~! I feel so honored, THANK U CATSTER~!! What a fun event!!~ I am jus' jumpin' up 'n down 'n happy paw dancin' wif me furiends~! 'n what great furiends I have~ So many prezzies, so mush fun~ Thank U my sweet furiends, you all are what makes our fine Catster Community soo great!!~
I also noticed that the last time I wrote in my diary about how great Tabby's are and why we're so special!~ And it got me Diary Pick~! Well then, I also noticed that it's been 3 months since I wrote in my diary too (almost to the day!!). Well that's too long!!~
I must come 'round more 'n purrlay more, I have really missesd my furiends so mush.
Jus' to let you know, I've been good 'n happy, purrlayin' lotz with my brofur Timmy. We're really close. We sleep together 'n cuddle a lot!~ I really look up to my big brofur!~ I love to purrlay with Milo and Sam too. But still, sigh...Mallee does not like me. I try to get close but she still hisses at me. Guess she will never furgive me fur givin' her such a hard time when she first lived with us. Still.. I iz furry sorry!~ But anywayz, she is a gurly and we guys just have to give her room 'n stuff for gurlies are spawcial. I still get to go outside a lot an' I jus' love it too. 'n Now that Fall is here, it's efen funner.
Such nice weather also, ina 60's here. Yesh, it does make us kits more friskey. And yesh, I have lost weight too. I guess it's my motivation to hop, run, jump, and many other moves. Life is good.

A Tabbies Tale

Hi my fine 'n pawsome furiends~ How R u all?? Catster has been a bit quite these days, but I wanted to share a Tabbie tale with you. Being a fine Tabbie, I was reading some various articles on why Tabbies have the Famous 'M' on our foreheads~!?? It's fabulous, I know~! Here is something really kewl~!!:

Since most of the world's cats are tabbies, the distinctive M is a genetic feature passed on from generation to generation. This feature is part of the fur pattern. An Italian legend tells the story of a young cat being in the stable in Bethlehem during the Christ Child's birth. As the Child lay crying in the manger, none of the animals present could soothe Him to sleep. When the tabby jumped into the manger, snuggled close, and began to purr, the Infant Child responded as if to a lullaby and soon drifted off to sleep. Mary gave the tabby a gentle pet on the forehead. Where her fingers had touched, the little tabby was marked with an M as a symbol of the Madonna's eternal gratitude.

Tabbies are so ubiquitous that many people think of them as a breed. Not so; the tabby is a color pattern - most often stripes, but sometimes stripes and whorls ('n Zig Zag's like me~!! ), or even spots and stripes. The tabby pattern is so popular that it can be found in many pedigreed cats today, and is accepted in a number of breeds by the most popular registries.

Cute, cuddly and intelligent are the three words which best describe a tabby cat. These cats are found in variety of sizes and colors. However, there is one common thing in them and that is the mark of the letter M on their forehead which gives them a fine look. The type of eyes and the color of the eyes in these types of cats also vary with the breed. They are the most sought after ones by cat lovers around the world.

So, we as TABBIES, are a well loved 'n most exiting cat~! The "M" defines us all~! The Dictionary may say we are 'common' but also shares the fact that Tabby derives its name from silk with a wavy pattern, from Arabic utabi, the name of the quarter in Baghdad where the silk was made. So, we are furtastic it seems~~

I just thought we all should celebrate Tabbies today 'n know we are loved 'n spawcial~!!

Mommy is a baker at Albertson's 'n her IZ a really GRAND cook~!! Dey had a really great time~!! 'n Also Aunti Lisa came ofur too 'n Sam, me, Timmy 'n Milo purrlayed outside together~!! Efuryone love'z mom's cookin'~!!
So, we gonna catebrate tomorrow 'n mom gonna create 'n bake me some spawcial kitty cookie'z too~!! PAWSOME Mom~!! I'll be smellin' 'em cook 'n I can no wait~!! Hehehe~! I love foodage~!! It's nice outside, but I had to go on home 'n Timmy wasn't far behind me. Mommy gotta get up way early in da mornin' 'n go to werk's. Sigh, we can no wait fur our mom'z to get home~!!
