Holy kittens... I'm officially 2 years old now "east coast time" and that means I'm a big boy even though mom still treats me like her little tyke *giggles*
I remember the first day whenI arrived home and what a special day that was. Talk about being spoiled!!! My meowmy also met a purry nice lady that day at my breeder's named Beth and ever since then, they've became good furiends. Purrrry nice family as well. Beth and her son were there picking out their Ragdoll kitty named Bentley and what a handsome fella he is. Looks just like our Jaspurr but larger!
I have to say that these have been the best two years of my life, although, I have many more to look forward to. My pawrents are wonderful and I'm always having fun with my siblings. I couldn't have chosen a happier and more loving home than the one I have now. Thanks meowmy and daddy fur always being there and fur loving me each and everyday, unconditionally *wipes eyes*
Well, mom is getting purry tired and she says that I better get some sleep as well because today is a day set aside just fur me. I bet that means extra treats and playtime. Night night my furiends and I will see all of you in the morning *blows kisses*
Thanks Catster and to everyone fur your Birthday wishes. Sending a special thanks to the following kitties fur their lovely gifties/Rosettes: My Family (party hat), Bitta & Fam (chocolate cupcake), Vanessa & Fam (chocolate cupcake), Karisma & Fam (chocolate cupcake), Hondo & Fam (party hat), Ashlynne & Fam (bunny).

Early this morning while everyone was asleep, Cocoa made his journey into Heaven... He gave no indication that he was ready fur the Bridge the night before and it came as a big shock to all of us... Cocoa was diagnosed not too long ago with Hyperthyroidism as well as having Cardiomyopathy for 8-1/2 years. He was almost 16-1/2 years old. Cocoa and meowmy had a purrry special bond and wow, what a meowmy's boy he was. They held that special bond up until the day he made his journey.
When meowmy came down stairs this morning at 8:15 am, she didn't see Cocoa and he didn't respond when she called him. She then looked over towards the dining room and saw him laying on his side, facing the patio glass doors. She had a bad feeling because he always answers her calls but this time, he didn't. As she approached him, he did not move so she knew something was terribly wrong. She picked him up and then collapsed while holding him in her arms, The night before, her dear furiend, Marie spent the night and everything was fine. Mom was crocheting while Cocoa was sitting on the sofa with her and auntie Rea Rea and they decided to go to bed at 12:30 am. Daddy was already sleeping since he had to get up early fur work. When auntie Marie used the bathroom at 2:15 am, she saw Cocoa in the flyer and he was fine. Daddy had to get up at 3:00 am fur work and there was nothing unusual with any of the boys. Meowmy and auntie Rea Rea took Cocoa to the vet at 8:30 and Doc Wray came up from surgery to check on our situation which was purrry nice. He said that Cocoa showed no signs of struggling to breathe and that he passed away peacefully at approximately 5:30-6:00 am. He also said that it was his heart that took him. He was such a wonderful kitty and such a good boy. Heaven gained a beautiful angel today but I know that we are all feeling so much pain as well as all of his wonderful kitty furiends. Cocoa will be privately cremated and returned back home the following Wednesday.
We will Miss Cocoa purry much but he will live furever in our hearts until we all meet again. Fly free purrecious Cocoa boy! You were a wonderful brother and loved so much! I didn't know Cocoa all that long but the time we did spend together was always purrrry special

Yippeee doodles! Today is my Birthday and that means I'm officially one year old. Mom kept telling me last night that tomorrow is my special day and I'll be a big boy but of course, I'm still the baby. Hummmm, do I kind of like being the little guy of the household *giggles* Well, I'm not all that little since I'm much bigger and wider than I was a year ago.
I never realized how fun a Birthday celebration can be until I'm having mine today. unfortunately, meowmy has to work *wipes eyes* but I do know that she has something yummy coming to me and you know how I have a sweet tooth. She'll be picking it up at the bakery after today.
I can't believe how wonderful this year has been fur me with such a pawsome family who loves and spoils me. My favorite brother, although I love them all is Cannoli. As soon as I came home from the breeders last year, Cannoli took me under his paw as though I was his real baby and since then, we have remained the bestest buds. We're always napping together and he was the one who actually showed me how to wrestle. Never got rough with me but showed me how it was done and yup, we still wrestle. I have also shown a special bond to Snowmitts which he and I are also purrry close. Basically, I go to each of my brothers fur washies and snuggles but Cannoli is my first choice. Just a bond that we made from the purrry beginning. As fur meowmy and daddy, they get wet nose kissies each and every morning. Unfortunately, there are times when dad's away on business but don't worry, he gets his lovies from me when he's home. I have always been so affectionate and all I do is purrrr purrrr purrrr and of course, fetch. There's nothing more fun than fetching a piece of paper and bringing it back to a human. As you may know, the more fetches means the more treats. Mom is always rewarding us when we do something good. You guessed it... we're good everyday so that means treats everyday *giggles* Thanks to all of you fur being such wonderful furiends throughout the year and many years to come *blows kisses*
I will try to update my entry before mom goes to work but if I don't get a chance, she'll help me after she gets home...
