Lord of the Fly

Before my afternoon nap, I made a detour to the litter box. To my dismay something was already occupying it- A Huge Texas-size fly!!

It was the size of a dime. And it must have been overpowered by my previous odoriferous offerings to the poop box, because it was flapping around and couldn't get out...hmmmmm...sweet!! Snack time....do flys taste like chicken??

To prolong the joy of catching my own prey, I batted the fly around a bit. Then I buried it. Then I dug it up...and buried it again. Apparently, I was busy for a long while, because Mom came to see what was keeping me.

She saw the poor helpless fly in my grasp, and decided to put it outta it's misery. She grabbed a tissue & squished, ugh, the sound of my prey being destroyed was devastating, she took my kill!! Mom threw the tissue in the trash & left.

I sat staring into the trash can, bummed out.
And then, I heard something...faint rustling...could it be!!! OMC!! It's ALIVE......AGAIN!! A Zombie Fly!?! I fished out the tissue & ate the fly....hmmmm, crunchy like popcorn--Yummy- Nothing like a full tummy before naptime!! - Whoop!!

What a birthday!! On Thursday, March 10th, the group Dreamy Mancats picked me as a Dreamboat-In-Training--Whoop Whoop!!
I am a kitten no more- I am finally a ManCat & a Dreamy one at that! Watch out Ladycats >^..^<

On Saturday, I had my birthday party...actually we celebrated both Mine & Toby's birthdays since we were both March babies.
My Auntie & Daisy (my Chiweenie cousin who may or may not be Chinese!?!) brought BBQ Brisket & Turkey. Yummy Yummy Yummy!!
And for dessert we had cake & BlueBell ice cream. Auntie had rootbeer, but I settled for a sip of sweet tea. Toby isn't a Foodie & nibbled on his cat food. He's not a Mancat yet, but he will be on the 29th. HaHaHa beat ya to it-Toby!!

We both got lots of goodies, including a new wand with feathers, a new scratcher post, bags of treats, and lots of catnips toys and toys with feathers. Feathers are always awesome!!

Toby & I are still recovering --> stalking a Chiweenie takes alot of ya---I hope they come back to party soon!! Next time maybe we can have fishsticks!! Whoop Whoop!!

Jan. 1st
Fort Jaxson
Love my cat tree. It's got a lounger, so that I can survey my vast territory and look out the window for birds & squirrels. It has a two-story tower for prisoners...Reno is a frequent guest, cause i never got my blue mousie back. And it has a tunnel for keeping toys in.

Jan. 15th
Finally succeeded in climbing to the top of the Tiger Post. Problem is getting down...I gotta work on that!!

Jan. 22nd
Mom went grocery shopping, and came back with another kitten...what aisle are those kept on?!?! He's a Gray Tuxedo.
Smaller than me, and I'm older by a few weeks. This should be interesting.

Jan. 23rd
Kicked outta my room last night. The Other Cat (he's being re-named, so no new name yet) is staying in there. I hear him playing with My toys!! And drinking outta my water fountain!! Is nothing sacred!?!

Jan. 24th
Slept in the living room again, I can't believe it!!

Jan. 25th
He's been named: Toby Sinclair
I guess that means we're gonna keep him??!? Maybe not!

Jan. 26th
5:00pm Toby went away in the carrier, I swatted at him to give him something to remember me by.
5:45pm Toby came back in the carrier, I swatted at him to let him know I was still in charge.

Jan. 28th
Well, he's been here a whole week. I guess he ain't going away. The vet said he was healthy on Wednesday, so we are all mingling together. I have to share my room and bed with him, but we have come to the understanding that --I Am King!!! and Jaxson Dakota Rules!!!
