Arrival Story:
Well, mom was looking for her "purrfect" kitty companion and saw another kitten listed on petfinder, saying that they had a litter of 4 available. She put in an application for that kitty, and when they contacted her they told her that the kittens were small, but they could bring them to an adoption so that she could look at us. They picked out me and my sister to take, and mommy fell in love with me (she says she was looking for a silly little girl, but she couldn't say no when she saw me!). They wouldn't let me come home that day, but mom is going to come back and get me in a couple weeks when I am ready to go!

He and his sisters were rescued from a kill shelter and given a second chance at life. I had been searching for a kitten for a bit, and when I saw him I just couldn't resist those beautiful sweet eyes!

I have been sooooo busy!

Wow furmom hasn't been online in a while to let everyone know what has been going on, but boy have we been busy! I am finally getting over my ringworm (lots of stinky sulfur baths behind me). Me and the woofer and furmom moved into a new apartment with fun hardwood floors (much fun to chase things across them!) We also got a new Woofer roommate and a new human roommate. I am not so sure about the new woofer. She is kind of crazy and won't leave me alone, and she is BIG so she scares me.

Furmom really upset me and left me at this scary place for 2 days last week. She called it the vet, and they stuck a needle in my and I fell asleep, and when I woke up I had this strange sense that I was missing something... not sure what they did to me in there, but something is definitely not the same! Furmom called it neuter, and whatever neuter is, I am not sure that I liked it. Furmom says something about school this week. I don't know what school is, but she is not very happy about it. Well tata for now! Back to chasing fuzzies across the hard floor!

Maybe some day I won't be sick all the time :(

Well, furmom has been soooooo busy (at least that is what she calls it when she doesn't pay me much attention!). First, I had tapeworms, roundworms, clostridium, and possibly upper respiratory infection. Furmom has been treating these for a couple weeks now. About halfway through that treatment, I started loosing hair on my face. Mom thought I was allergic to my food (promise I am not! Please don't stop feeding me!). She took me to the vet, and I ended up having ringworm. Uh oh :( Now she has to give me a bath (OH NO!) every week in the really really smelly stuff that turns me all yellow and stinky like rotten eggs. Unfortunately, we didn't catch it in time to keep everyone else from getting it, so now the two woofers and the roommate have ringworm too. Thankfully, furmom doesn't have it (yet) but who knows. She says she is just ready for everyone to be better again. My ringworm is going away though. I already have hair growing back on my face (thank goodness cuz I think I looked quite silly bald).

Raw Chicken: My first encounter!

Well yesterday I was being a really picky eater, and mom was worried about me. She said she was going to buy something that she thought I might like. She left for a while, and came home with some bags. Well, she gave me something out of the bags that she called "raw chicken" and "chicken liver". Well, I don't know what that means, but it was delicious! I don't know why she didn't give me this sooner! I don't want anything to do with that "cat food" anymore. THIS is what I call cat food! Mom said that she doesn't want to feed me this all the time, and today she tried to get me to eat "cat food" again but I said NO WAY I want CHICKEN! Maybe I can get my point across. Mom says that if I don't eat though, that I will get sick. She thinks I am too skinny, but a couple days ago she discovered that I had tapeworms, whatever that means, and hopes that once those are gone I will gain weight. She said something about a vet, and I am not sure what that means but it doesn't sound fun! I also had my first bath yesterday, because mom found some itchies on me (she called them fleas, but I just call them itchies). She said that the "vet" will take care of those too. I am not sure about this vet...
