Arrival Story:
I rescued Merry and his brother Pippin from a very mean man who kept the two in a cage between cages full of about 30 very loud and aggressive dogs. They were very frightened when I got them and hid under the bed for ages. So I decided to let them out in the garden and hoped they would build faith in me. So they did but unfortunately Pippin died a few weeks later, I think his heart was weakened by the immense stress caused by his living with those aggressive dogs. So Merry then was alone with me and Scottie the Brave. He wanted to be close to me but was too afraid. Over the time of about half a year we got closer and closer and I earned his faith. Now, after a few years he even sleeps with me in my bed. When I got him I never thought that would ever happen. We are both very happy now, but we miss MerryÃ‚Â´s brother Pippin very much.
