Arrival Story:
I was born in the woods of the game land behind our hoomins' house on 02 June 2009. My Mommy Daisy decided to have there instead of by the shed, where she was born a year earlier. It was a little weird as newborns to be hidden among the leaves, but it gave us perfect camouflage, because the orange-rusty brown leaves were a perfect cover-up for us. No one could spot us easily. My sister Hidey and my brother Bungee loved the outdoorsy baby room lot. ********************************** ********* When we were about a month old, our mommy decided to take us one by one to her hoomins to get better shelter.     Ha, you should have seen their faces, when for three days one kitty after the other showed up on their door step. Literally! They have a "bridge" that is the entrance access to their house. So the Mo, our hoomin Mama, build us a rescue camp on there, right away. Schnuck, our hoomin Dad, preferred the name Cathouse, but he didn't really get a vote... We finalized our arrival at the Burg with me as the last katzie to get there on 04 July 2009. What a weekend that was! ********************************** ***************** Bungee died suddenly one morning before he was even 4 months old. That was sad. We don't know what happened. Mama was beside herself. **************************** Our katzie parents were happy to see the hoomins take good care of us. Garfield, our katz-daddy, did not stay with us most of the time but ran off into the far lands around us. He came back for food and to check on his kids often. I think he was very proud being a daddy. Daisy had to go to the vet soon, so she would not have one litter after the other like her Mom, who disappeared when she was pregnant after having Daisy and her sibs. ********************************** ** I am just happy to be a Mommy now. It is a LOT of work, though. Was I this demanding as a baby? Oh My!

Yesterday Nudel, Dudel & Strudel were stuffed into the carrier with me and we made a trip to the vet again.
I was worried about my babies getting too upset over this trip, but noooo they did just fine. It must have helped that they did not get pricked with the big, bad syringe for a vaccination or anything.
Mama did not want the fur babies to be vaccinated too early(before the recommended 6 weeks of age), so she volunteered to come back for that some other time.
I, on the other paw, was not so lucky. Nah, I had to turn my skinny tush to the vet, so I could get my Feline Leukemia shot. OUCH!!!
My coughing is much better now, even without having to down yucky medicine. Maybe all the good food and vitamins, Mama gave me, helped a bit.
The vet said that my babies were all looking just fine. I WAS SO PROUD! I think they look more than fine...they are incredibly gorgeous! Yes! B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!
Call me biased...I am! MEOW!
