Favorite Nap Spot: In the sun, on the back of the couch
Favorite Food: Tuna
Skills: He would jump from the floor into our arms, then climb up to our shoulders. He used to sit up and beg for milk, and we once discovered that he could spell it when he sat up and begged when he heard the letters "M-I-L-K."
indoors and outdoors
Arrival Story: Friends brought him to us from their reservation in upstate NY in early 1987. He was the only orange in a litter of gray kittens. His mother was Abyssinian, but the father was annonymous. ;-)
Bio: After being born in NY state, Max came to live with us in lower Michigan, then moved to the Upper Peninsula, made several trips between the eastern and central U.P. and lower MI, then finally to the Chicago area where he spent the end of his life. We used to call him the "travelling cat." _________________________________ Max left us in the summer of 1997 after a battle with lymphoma. He was a great friend and a part of our family. He will always be missed.
