Arrival Story:
About two years before i was born my mother got married and moved to Detroit. But before she left a friend gave her a black and white kitten. She didn't know what to say she has had cats before but didn't know how her new husband would take it. But my dad didn't mind and two years later i was born. I remeber being little and dragging poor maxie around by the tail until told to stop.

Bio:
Max was pretty old before he died. He had been though alot. When my mother first got him he had a bad reaction to his first round of shots and almost died. He went though my parents seperation and 5 moves. The last time Maxie moved was to our house here in Lansing from Detriot. Maxie took well to the change even when we got a puppy (Freckles). About 2 years ago Max started getting sick. The vet said that his liver, lungs, and heart were failing. We could have taken to MSU for testing, but my mom didn't want to put Max though that. He lived a very full life. Month after month Maxie began to go blind and couldn't walk. Finally my mom took him to the vet and had him put to sleep. I will always miss Max, and even to his last days on earth he always made it to my lap to cuddle.
