Likes: She loves to play with her brothers, catch and eat bugs and for some reason she is in love with these ears of a bunny dog toy
Pet-Peeves: We are still working on getting her to like to be held so after a few seconds she wants down and to not be held still any longer and gets pretty angry
Favorite Toy: her bunny ears we have cut off a dog toy, a couple other toys she loves to smack around and the little squishy balls
Favorite Nap Spot: With her big brother Mario
Favorite Food: She loves her Iams, although she does try to sneak and eat the senior cat food
Skills: She must because she hooked me and convinced us to take on another cat
Arrival Story: I work at an animal hospital and one day someone came in with this tiny kitten saying they found her and could we take her. We said yes and the office manager took her home to foster. She got her shots started and got rid of a cold or something she had. The day she was supposed to go to the local shelter we found out after all that hard work she would just be put with all the other sick or not sick kittens and I didn't want all her hard work to be for nothing so I said I would foster her and post her on my corgi rescue website. Before you know it I was paying for a spay, finishing vaccines and adding another cat to our family. We can't imagine life without her and wouldn't want it any other way.
With us already having either black or black and white cats I always said my next cat would have color and then Tonks entered the picture. She got her name because I'm a Harry Potter nerd and she is so many things (calico with an orange tabby stripped leg) all thrown into one and the name just fit her perfect. It had to grown on my husband and people still look at me funny that don't know where the name Tonks came from but we don't care.
