A day in the life of Hunter...

He is so annoying sometimes

Hey, Hunty's Momma here. I just need to express how much my Hunter is like a dog. Actually he is worse than a dog. He is like a sick whiny kid who needs their mother all the time. He sleeps with me, now he eats with me (he always has to check out my breakfast) stays in the bathroom with me, has to walk infront of me constantly. He licks me all the time, whines if I'm not home, wakes me up daily for work (who needs alarm clocks?). I love Hunter, I do, its just sometimes I need space. Space to walk, space to breathe so I don't inhale fur, space to eat without a white furball checking out my cereal bowl. I don't think Hunter is the type that would do well, if I ever had to rehome him. Granite it would tear me apart, but I don't think he would do well at all. He isn't the independent type at all, although he walks around my house all smug like he is the king of the castle.

Anyway, I guess I just needed to express that he is driving me nuts!! Maybe its the spring air... ;)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine!

Hunty's Momma,
Kelly

I think he's related to my little sister, Kaylin! She doesn't just walk in front of mom and dad - she runs right between their feet. She also has a foot fetish, especially mom's feet. She grabs them and bunny kicks them and bites them! Mom yelped at 6:00 this morning and then felt bad in case she woke the neighbors downstairs.

Oh you're not alone...mom says I drive her nuts sometimes too. I'll follow her around and meow for attention and rub her legs but when she picks me up, I give her my whine-y meow and want down. Then I plunk myself in front of her again. MOL! And my sister Pixie never lets mom eat a meal by herself. We all have our moments I guess :)

Snow is like that, a mama's boy, and I adore mommy, but I, like Hunter, would have been an only kitty if I could have.

There is one thing not mentioned - I "help" with EVERYTHING, and I try to always line up my head with where's she's trying to look closer! MOL!!

Oh I hear ya! Monida has been screaming every morning starting at 6 until about 9. Ugh. I love her, but holy cow, I want to strangle her.

yes there are "those days" for sure. I even get tripped so I will stop & pet him by one of my feral boys Mini-me that really would be an awesome housecat - I cannot do more than 4 - sometimes the 4 of them make me nuts. But then you get a cute meow or a pawtap or "the eyes" and it all melts away. Hunty sure does love you alot! He seems to be the kind of kitty that always has to be busy!

Not me. I'm perfect. MOL!

LĂsta's mom here: Actually, she is fairly perfect these days, but I paid a lot of dues. When she was younger, she would get on the shelf and poise her paw to knock something over. Then she'd look at me and wait. I'd look at her and barely say "Cal--" and she would knock the object on the floor in COMPLETE DEFIANCE. If I didn't give her enough attention she'd clear the whole shelf. So, some of these things are just the joys of youth. Hang in there, at least he loves you more than the world!
