Meowmy 'unloaded' some of her thoughts pover on your blog...furgive her ramblings, stress can do strange things to peeps...and she has been under some...sigh...your mom knows all too well...we won't burden her with the junk... You did? I haven't seen it come through Pipo. And you're right, stress can do strange things! I'm sorry your meowmy is having so much stress and junk. She's always so good to us, I'll send her some purrs and headbonks okay? She didn't even find any time to write a diary about it...one of these days, she should though. Thanks fur the purrs! What happened to your comment on my blog? It never came through. What happens when you press the button to publish the comment, does it say anything? I think it said something like that it was going to be published after you approved/reviewed it. Sometimes I will C/P the comment before I press the post button, of course I didn't that time...go figure! Its lost in cyberspace, MOL! Well it was just some wordy thoughts about the live sof our angel furs, and how the only kitty who was a true senior was Groucho. Right now mom's good friend just had her third recurrence of cancer, and surgery was yesterday, mom has todo most of the chores herself, now because our 'slaves' went off to college, and pawppy can hardly walk...he needs a hiop replacement. Pawppy's brother is not very well at all, and is 600 miles away, and we had some big bills...well you know about $ junk! We can't get the renovations right now, because we don't want that going on just when pawppy is having his op...(Oct first)...and we need to gert a new confuser...and pawppy gets streessed out woth all the political junk...and well, I will shut up now... And now toomany kitties are becoming really sick, or angels...and some doggies, too. Purrs! Meowmy can't even think to look at the spell checker, MOL!! Sorry... MOL, it's okay Pipo. I'm so sorry you are all going through all of this. Just know that we are here for you to talk to and vent, just like you listen to us vent. Life is so hard sometimes isn't it? It just seems that junk happens all at once. Oh he sounds like my grampy with the political stuff. He gets his BP up getting mad about that. And what fer? It's all just blahbiddy blah blah. Thanks for listening Alex. Its appurrsiated! You got it Captain Pipo-Fang! MOL. Anytime. Hope our mom's comment comes through. Today be our Cookie's birthday (second one at the bridge). Mom had many sweet thoughts about her today. She had to go tell the ancient grandparents that she be out of town this weekend with work, but granddad wasn't thinking tonight. Grandmom never remember, so mom be a little bummed they'll think she left without tellin' em. Everyone else goin' by bus, but she takin' a car so if something happens to one of them she can get back. THis be a good day to think about seniors! Sweetie it's there! Tell your mommy she doesn't have to do it twice. I moderate all comments so you have to wait until I publish it but it's there. Two years without Cookie already! wow. Seems like yesterday she left. So sorry about your grandmom and granddad. Ours forgets stuff a lot too but not likes yours do. so sad. Very good post! Very good post! The humans have definitely noticed some things changing with me lately and sometimes it makes them sad or frustrated, but they do the best they can and I seem pretty happy. We went to the site and posted. My mom forgets her account name and password so it takes a little time to recall it. She tries to change password for security sake and messes up with it. Helping seniors is so hard at times but mom is a senior too. She is the oldest at her work. Every so often, she calls Juliette "Natasha". Juliette has those pretty eyes that were close to Natasha's and she moves like Natasha did when she was younger. Be good to yourself and take time off when you can to re-energize. Our meowmie gets leaky eyes just reading about all the new angel kitties and kitties getting sick and leaving furiends and family behind. It is stressful to go through and stressful to think about, so my thoughts today are (1) you have to grow up enough to purr for others; (2) be brave be strong and remember to have fun sometimes; (3) hugs all around. Love you all, Meep Awww Jez, sorry to hear that but it's inevitable. As long as you are happy and doing well, that's what matters sweetie. Alexander we didn't even know your mom is a senior! All this time! So see? She can't be that forgetful. Calling Juliette Natasha is normal. Mom still gets all the kitty's names mixed up sometimes. Even once called Midnight Patches, MOL. Patches been gone a long time now. Luv you Meep! Don't cry sweetie, I know it's been sad lately. You're always wonderful at purring for others. We'll have more fun times here, don't worry. Mom read the blog and will go back to comment when she catches her breath. We understand ALL of that - both mom and I do. We dealt with it....many things...for a number of years. Thanks also for updating that information page I wrote about diabetes. ~ Jen Take your time Gumpy, you are still getting acclimated here at the bridge and your mom needs HER time now. Yes, we are so worth every minute. But it's still so tough on all involved. 18 years!!! Wow, you both were so lucky. Sending more hugs your mom's way! XXOO Mostly what I've been doing is pacing a lot. That makes the humans kinda worried because a basset they had who lived to be 16 just paced constantly the last year of his life. I'm also standing differently, more splayed. But I have gotten sweeter too - I really like pets now and sitting in laps which I never used to like that much. My humans' philosophy is just to try to enjoy everyday - you never know how long you have with any animal, or any person for that matter. That's a good philosphy to have Jezzy. Maybe you have a little arthritis? |
