Today will be a tough one for many of us on Catster and here at the bridge. This afternoon we'll be welcoming our beautiful friend Sally Mariahere after a very lengthy set of illnesses. Sally Maria has IBD, HCM, Mitral valve regurgitation, lymphoma and kidney disease. She's lived much longer than the docs or her pawents ever thought she would. Her pawents have not been sure for awhile now when it would be her time. But her quality of life has gone down significantly as of late and her mom and dad feel it's time to let her go with dignity and let her have the rest she so badly deserves.
So many sweet new angels recently. The rainbow bridge is becoming an even more beautiful place will all these special little ones joining them, but it's so hard and so unfair to those of us mourning them. We will purr for Sally Maria and her family during this hard time. It's true. It's very beautiful here and when these animals enter, they are frail and sick and worn out. But they shed their animal suit and take a nice rest for awhile, becoming beautiful, glowing and glorious! More than I can ever describe. It is however very unfair that we have to leave our families and they hurt so so so badly. This is very sad news. We will visit Sally's page to send purrs to her family at this sad time. Thank you Willie, Her momma really needs the support of our loving community! Poor Sally, boy did she fight the good fight! She really proved those docfurs wrong about how long she had. Good for her!!! She decided on her own terms! My goodness what a brave fight for Sally Maria and her mom. She couldn't have had a better mom who loved her more. Sending purrs of comfort. It is such a hard transition when one of our fur friends goes to the bridge. It is so hard to say goodbye. We are sending purrs of support! Timmy T, Toby T, Rumpy T, Buddy T, and Family Sally is here now with all of us. She's a rock star here at the bridge. Her valiant fight and long courageous life will always be remembered. sssssssssssssssoooooooooooooo many new purr and pup angels since this past spring.... each passin' is so emotional and heartbreaking. cherish and cling to all the wonderful memories you have. everyday our house still misses, Old Baby(a hienz 57 pupster) who passed in June at age 19. we celebrate all the wonderful time we had with her. sending prayers.... precious Purrs and head nudges to Sally as she joins us at the bridge. We are all here welcoming her with open paws.
