Well, momma figured it out. Like a flash of lightning, a light bulb going off over a dim head! She remembered that during that nasty Irene storm, she lifted some sandbags to put around the back door in the driveway so it didn't get flooded. Sigh. Mom knew she strained herself. There was no doubt about that. But she thought she was okay. Apparently not!
Concats on being a diary pick! We will certainly purr for Bumbly and your Mom and Dr. Barb too. conga ratz two ewe on yur dia ree pick a cheese mint alex...eye will buy ewe a root beer over at boe boe's fish N carry out for we snak on sum trout :) tell yur mom if her mattress be sinked ta ask a peepul ta flip it for her N ta chek into a matress mad; her can get "egg shell crate kind" or de kinda that be like pillow top's....bee fore her has ta go thru de x pents oh gettin a mew one... Thank you Skylar, we appreciate it! Tabbies, guess what mom just ate for supper! Not trout but haddock! MOL. It was yummy too. And she's done alllll of that over and over and over and over and over! No exaggeration. She needs a new one, this one is a goner. Thank you both for the lovely picture. Dr. Barb just said the saddest thing to mommy and it reminded her so much of me. She said that right now Bumbly looks so shiny and her fur is so soft and luxurious that it doesn't make sense that soon she'll be gone. That brought it all back for mom because that's exactly how I was even the day I died. Even my vet had just seen me two days before and ran her fingers through my fur and said how soft I was. sigh. oh that's so sad-Mommy knows what you mean...she was petting my tummy last night and remembered how soft Indy's was, and found a little bit of his fur when she was organizing (Oh Ceiling cat we need it MOL!)..our bookcase fell and so she got tha new ones, and under tha old one was all his fur from trying ta reach all the toys that went under there and it was still all soft, even though it was little bits and pieces Oh that stinks Kitty P. Momma didn't know at the time I passed that you could take swatches of our fur or paw prints. Mom had JUST vacuumed the house the night before I died so there was nothing left for fur to be found in the house. The day after I died mom opened the vacuum bag and sat in a pile of dirt and dust on the kitchen floor frantically looking for pieces of my fur. I kept yelling "momma stop it I'm not in there!" She couldn't hear me. It was awful. Yea, Alex Angel on yur DDP! I wish your Mommy well Alex & hope she'll get a noo mattress! Purring for Bumbly & praying for his Mama Dr.Barb. Our family knows how difficult it is to have a kitty with cancer. Our hearts to out to Dr. Barb. We hope that Ebony finds a wonderful home. We were thinking of him yesterday. It is unfortunate that his unconditional love couldn't give his Mom comfort at a difficult time. We know how important our love is to our Mom and Dad and can't understand how some people just don't feel the same. XOXOXO Ooooh Kally Kat that's BEAUTIFUL! Thank you! Thank you both, Kally and Biggles. Poor Barb. She's usually so together. But she loves her kitties so much it's killing her. If there's one word in this world we hate so furry much, it's cancer! I know Biggles, we can't understand it either. Sad stuff that Bumbly is so sick...and yup, it brings back memories fur meowmy, too...as she had a couple of sick kitties in the past, though not with Cancer...they let her have that one...but now she is a 5 year survivor, PTL! Kally Kat sent such a purrty Butterfly! ...now meowmy has to go and do catretarial work for Minko...MOL! Whoa! Tell your meowmy congrats on surviving the beast for 5 years! Many more wonderful and completely healthy years to her. Mommy had a sweet and beautiful doggy named Taffy that died at five years old of cancer. Thanks Alex...we will! Sorry about Taffy, that is so young:( Maybe your mom can find a super good deal on a new mattress. Purrs for that and for your mommy's back! We are also purring for dear little Bumbly. Tell Dr. Barb that some Casters are thinking of her and Bumbly. So much loss and sadness.... Hope you had fun being a DDP! Love, Gumpy Thanks Gumpy I will. Well mommy already found a good deal but it's still $300! That's a lot of money when you have none. But it's a really good mattress with a nice comfy cushion top. Ooooh, she's feeling all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it! $300 is pretty good for a mattress (so I've been told). Finney and Lacey might have to eat some Fancy Feast for a while (Jezebel does great with FF, you know ;) ). Your mom can also get a cushy pad thing to put on top. It sounds like she really needs that new mattress! Cushy cush cush sounds nice! Congrats on the DDP! Hope y'all can find a nice mattress. It really is good! Mattresses are expensive! And guess what, they are eating the grain free FF right now along with Soulistic and some Petguard. So mom's food bill has come down a lot! But very little insurance and no money equal lots of bills. Thanks Jezzy! ya know, I LOVES the Soulistic food and it's like mostly all the wet foods I likes ta eat...Mommy's gotten some other kinds and Harrison seems ta likes the Nature's Variety wet stuffs, but me, I thik it's stinky and I wants my gravy with fishies or chikins in my Soulistic! Purrrrs you get the mattress! Mommy's is soooooooo old-like half her age, and so that's old, she hopes maybe santa grandpaw will get her a new bed fur christmassy and bday! Congrats beautiful. What a beautiful girl Bumbly is. I am very sad for her mom. Please tell her we are purring for Bumbly. Love, Tigger |
