WOW! What a week! There is so much to do and so many to purr for it's a full case load. So we need lots of help. First off, we obviously need to purr hard for all the people and furbabies in Japan. Just awful what's happened there! We're so sad about this and it's going to be awhile that they'll need these purrs so I hope we all have plenty! We're calling a special meeting for this one.
Then there is a brand new friend of ours, I don't know what happened but he went to the bridge today. Could you please visit this kitty and send some condolences to his family? They JUST joined Catster and friended us yesterday! Purr for Miloand his family if you can.
Also our wonderful and loving friend Kally Kat who has a lump on her booby and will have it surgically removed on St. Patty's day. I am convinced that is a lucky sign for her and her mom just said the labs all came back normal! So purr hard for her, we all love her dearly here on Catster. She's one of the most pawsome friends we know.
Monida's little friend Henry was hit by a car yesterday and didn't make it. His family is crushed! Please visit them and offer them hugs.
Our cousin Midnight is honestly having a very difficult time and yesterday we thought we were going to lose her. And in typical kitty fashion she decided at 6:30 pm to come out of her starvation trance and start eating! This is the roller coaster that mom was on with me and it's tearing her up to see Middy going through this. Clearly she's not ready to leave yet but she sure scared everyone and she made herself very weak in the process. Ugh. I'm trying to help mom! I promise I am! I hate seeing my mommy go through this again. She went through it with Midnight's brofur Moufasa and lost him in December and now her.
And now for some wonderful news! Little Miranda just wrote in her diary that she got her splints off! She's back to walking and using her legs again and no more splints! Bless her family for saving her life. They are her saviors and I'm sure she loves them more than anything in this world.
Okay everyone, please excuse me. I have a lot of work to do. We're holding an emergency meeting here at the bridge and I have to go find Aryeh, Queen Tallulah, Calvin, Scooter and the others so we can start sprinkling some mega angel dust all over the place! We're going to have to get our newcomers ready to go out early because we need all the help we can get with everything going on. Milo and Henry are too new, they need to rest for a little while. But we need our big guns on all this stuff! If any of you are here at the bridge and you're reading this, start gathering the others for our meeting. We have a lot of work to do!
All of you here on earth get your purr machines going! We're gonna need those too!
As Kally Kat would say, lubs lubs lubs to all of you!
Hi Alley, I know we haven't been writing anything at all lately. We're sorry. Mom's been so depressed and just drained. We don't have a page for Midnight but we have a couple of pictures of her and her late brofur Moufasa on my profile or my photo book. Thanks for bring up the cat island, we forgot about that one. We'll have to make a stop over there unfortunately, we may need to escort quite a few kitties home. sigh. It's a good thing we don't need to sleep if we don't want to Alley, it's gonna be a long couple of weeks I think! We are overjoyed about Miranda. It's so great to hear a happy ending for a change! Good news about out friends is the best news!
Mom sends prayers to your mom, when my sister alley got sick, it was just over two years after I had gone to the bridge and it brought it all back for her. Now your mom is going through this atleast a third time since your left, sorry. One thing that helped my mom is that saying "It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all"
BTW I meant to send the post above but mom forgot to choose me..MOL. Mom to Alex Finney and Lacey please try to keep your chin up, and get some rest it sounds like you are up all night (mom does that too) it makes the emotional ride even rougher. Sorry for the long post maybe this should have been a pawmail...
purrs and brushes from the angel wings
Hi Alex, there's a lot of purring to do. We're adding our purrs for everyone who needs them. We're purring for Japan. It's very sad and devastating what's happened there. We purrsonally know people in Japan, though Mom thinks they are in safe areas. We're also purring for Kally Kat and the other kitties who need. We're also purring strong purrs for sweet little Midnight and also your momma. So sorry she's going through so much again.
Love & purrs,
I am definitely gonna be sending out a lot of purrs.
Hi Skids, it's okay, you can write as long a post as you like here! We always love hearing from you and your family. Hi Gumpy! Oh we hope your friends are okay. One of the ladies and kitties on our newsletter is from Japan and lives in CA. She said her family is still in Japan but they're safe and okay. So relieved! Hi Jezzy! Thanks for pitching in purrs, we need to send out as many as we can. Thanks for all the good thoughts too. Momma will be okay, it's just tough worrying about Middy. You know how much my mommy has devoted herself to caring for her and Mouffey and that was pretty hard on her losing him. It's gonna be really hard on grammy and grampy. She's stuck to them like glue! But you never know, maybe she'll be okay for awhile. Mom will definitely be going to bed soon. (see, she's up late again, 1:50 am EST). Go to bed momma!!! MOL!
MOL Alex it is so tough for me or any of the other kittes to get mom in the bed too. It is 1:00 a.m. here and she is still going like it is the middle of the day and her TV is still talking all about Japan. Things will get better. We can see it from here on the bridge.
Skids your mommy and mine are doing the same exact thing right now. She's still watching about Japan too. How many times can she watch the same shaky videos? But that's our moms! Concerned about everything and every kitty! Yup, we gotta get that purr rumble up here going so things start looking better for everybody!
Wow mate you do have a full case load. If you see my mate Henry could you please tell him that I really miss him. I will purr for the people and the animals in Japan it just awful what happening there. I will also send purrs to all the kitties that need them. I purr mum to sleep every night so I will keep all them in purrs too.
There's so much grief going on right now it's giving me a headache. I sent notes to all your friends and was truly heartbroken reading Henry's diary. Mom sent a friend request offering our shoulders to cry on. She feels your Momma's and Henry's Momma's pain to well. Our whole family, Diamond too, is praying for everyone, in hope, that all will find in our hearts.
Thank you Ka-zar, I will most definitely tell Henry you miss him! Zach, I have a feeling that your mommy is empathic like mine is. My momma feels EVERYTHING in the world! And I mean really bad feels it. She has all kinds of health issues and finds it hard to get grounded sometimes with all this sadness. One of the big reasons she loves it here on Catster is because she doesn't feel alone in this. But also because she can have so much fun here and feels the love and support that's not only given to us but to all the other kitties and families. We feel part of a terrific family here where we can be ourselves. I think there are times when all the death and destruction can just be too much for the human soul. Mom is anxious to get out in her garden and plant her veggies and flowers. She says that's her way of giving birth, "she gives birth to the earth". And it does wonders for her soul, heart and mind. Tell your mommy she can talk with mine anytime. We love you guys dearly!
I told Mom what your Mom said. And Mom said walked out with Diamond to look a her rose bush she planted last month and it's got leaves! They all do. That's such a great feeling.
See? In the midst of death there is always life. Mom has a hard time with that but she always looks to nature who yes, can destroy life in the worst way. But nature is resilient and always comes back. Mom has bird feeders in our yard, she puts sunflower seeds out and peanuts for the blue jays. We had a cardinal in the yard just yesterday, the first one this year! He sang so beautiful. Mom just stood in the window real still and watched and listened. She says it fills her heart back up. Those roses have magical powers. The smell is aromatherapy for you and also is pleasing to the eye. ANYTHING like that is what your mom should be doing right now. The smallest little thing that is pleasing and soothing to her should be done. My mom is still having to keep going up and down the stairs and coax Midnight to eat. She's so worn out and hates that this is happening all over again. But it is what it is and she's trying to keep perspective about it. The massive snow here is finally melting and we're seeing the soil underneath which is wet and lush, ready for plants. Her plants underneath all that snow are green, ready to burst open at the first warm day. Soak it in!
Oh my, ~sigh~ Kally Kat,

Hi Alex, sorry I haven't been on Mom has been resting, she finally had a whole weekend off and got to stay home....
I am here with you and yes we need to get busy....I am sending angel dust to all of our friends that are in need, I am wrapping my pink angel wings around them....I have been picking flowers and special butterflies for our friends that have made their journey to the bridge....I welcome them with open paws and love...
Our work is never done, I think we are busier here than when we were on earth...
Mom and family are praying for Japan and for all of our friends that need our prayers and support.
Hi Queen T! Your momma deserves to rest and have some "her" time so we're happy she did actually. My momma needs to do the same thing here soon! Jeez! She turned on her computer today and WOW! What an awful week for so many people and kitties. Natalie is back in the hospital and her daddy had to go to the ER himself with chest pains!
Mo's brofur Rajah died very suddenly this morning probably of a heart attack. There were something like 7 emails to us from kitties that went to the ER yesterday. What is going on? We are way too busy QT!
Oh my lord, that's a lot of heartbreak. We will purr before we go to bed.
Love to all and BE SAFE AND SOUND,
Zachery and Zoe
