My brand new friend, Buddha, is already coming to join me at the bridge. He's either coming on Monday or sooner, we're not sure yet. We've only just met him but he's a special and beautiful boy. He's suffering so much and his momma has made the heart wrenching decision to let him come with me and be happy and healthy again.

Buddha's momma, if you read this...please know that I visit my momma all the time and she KNOWS it. She feels me, she can see me sometimes. I even play with Finney and Lacey! It's not the same as when she was able to hold me in her arms and kiss my head and make me forget the pain I was in. But it's all we've got and we'll never give it up. So rest assured that when Buddha has had a little while to recuperate, I'll teach him how to visit you if you'd like that. It's not hard at all and I know that it's helped my momma a lot when I do that.

My momma went through a horrible depression after losing me. She made herself physically sick and had to be on antibiotics for 4 months! Her doctor finally told her she had to start living again and that he understood the love between a pet and their parent. After that she started taking care of herself again and knew I wouldn't want her to suffer like me. So please take good care of yourself and let people love you and comfort you okay?

These folks and kitties here on Catster are the best at it that my momma's ever met. We wish we'd known all these wonderful people when I was sick and passed away. Maybe she wouldn't have gone through all of that. But she's here now and wants to help you! She's got big shoulders and an even bigger heart so remember that if you ever need her.

All my furriends please visit Buddha's diary and help him and his momma get through this. You're all so good at wrapping your paws and wings around kitties and their families. This family can use as many of you as possible. Please purr and say purayers for them.

Thanks for letting us know about Buddha. His latest diary entry made mama cry really hard. She really feels for Buddha's mommy, especially with the way I've been feeling lately. Even when they know it's for the best, it doesn't do anything to make them feel better. Buddha's pain will be over soon but his mommy's will go on for a long time.

I'm sure you will take him under your wing and teach him how to be as wonderful an angel as you are. He's lucky to have you watching out for him.

Thanks for telling us about Buddha. My mom still cries for me after 2 1/2 years and it's even difficult for her to look at my Catster page. One Catster friend wisely told my mom, "Grief is the price we pay for love." And that's so true, my mom's (and your mom's) grief was because they love us so very, very much. It doesn't make the pain any easier, but my mom wouldn't trade the love she feels for me for anything in the world.

Thank you for posting about Buddha. I posted about him yesterday too when I saw his diary entry for diary of the day. Him and his Mommie needed some furriends, he went from 7 furriends to 69 I believe already! They really need our support, love and furriendship. My Angel brofur Teiga visited his diary too, all I know all the kitty angels will be there for him when the time comes.

Thank you everyone! We just knew our fellow Catsters would rally around him and his family. That's why we love you all so much. My momma cried super duper hard last night too Sally, after reading his diary, it was almost too much to bare. Momma could just feel his family's pain! Thank you for sending us purrs too Sally Maria you sweet girl. We don't need them as much as you do but we'll take them anyways because they are so special and everyone could use purrs. We purr for you all the time sweetheart! We love you too!

Thank you sweet Alex for writing about Buddha. We hadn't noticed the title of his diary and him being the DOTD until we saw your diary last night. We haven't been around here as much because I've been sick this week (but I'm getting better!). It is a touching and heartbreaking story and diary. We sent Buddha some purrs and love. It was very sweet of you to write a diary entry about him and let more people know what is happening with the precious boy...
