Mommy is taking cousin Midnight to the vet at 5:30. There's something wrong with her left eye. We hope it's just a scratch but for two days the third eyelid has been covering part of the eye. Her pupil is a little constricted. No discharge or anything and she's acting just fine otherwise. Still able to see where she's going, eating great, not even pawing at it or squinting. Walking fine, jumping fine, etc. sigh. Poor baby can't catch a break. Just because her IBD has been under control now she has this. If you can, please purr and pray for her that it's just a scratch or something minor. Thanks everybody.
Purring for Midnight --- purr purr purrrrrrrrrr
Hope she is okay
Thanks Bibi, we appreciate it.
Purrs for her!!! Big PURRRRRRRRRRS
This is what Midnight has: Horner's Syndrome. It may or may not resolve itself. She's on antibiotics now which may help resolve it but it can take awhile. But this doesn't interfere with her vision, all her vitals are great and she's not in any pain whatsoever. All we can do is hope it gets better. Purrin fur Midnight!
Feel betta sweetie, you've been throo so much!
Purrs, Kally Kat O' Kelly
Purring real loud for you Midnight! I hope your eye feels better soon.
Sending Midnight purrs.
Midnight, we are purring for your owie to go away
Purring for Midnight
Sending our purrs too!
Thank you everyone. She's doing well today. We have to just hope that the antibiotics and time help this go away. If not, she has to live with it and hope it doesn't develop into anything worse. Poor Middy, she's been through so much already. Thank you all for your purrs and love.
Loads of purrs coming from here too!
Purring huge for sweet Midnight.
Hope it isn't too serious.
Thank you Minuette and Biggles! Thank you everyone, we'll keep you posted on her "hopeful" recovery. Love you all!
I will keep my paws crossed it's nothing serious. I had something like that a few months, a few drops for a few days, good as new.
Hi Xena, it's not a scratch. It's Horner's Syndrome.
