You’ll never believe what happened here Thursday night. You know my new neighbor next door? The one on the second floor that tried to smash his way into my driveway during that Oct blizzard? At 1:30 am he had a heart attack at the top of his stairs and fell all the way down to the porch. He fell so hard he smashed the door open and was unconscious. The whole street was crawling with fire trucks, cops, EMS, everything. He’s so bad they don’t know if he’ll make it. Isn’t that horrible? I have no idea if he has any family, I’ve never seen anyone go up there.
On the Midnight front, she's on Baytril now for her booboo pee pee. She has a bad bacteria infection so because the Clavamox didn't work we're trying this. Hopefully it works! Mom is giving her an all natural kidney product she used to give Moufasa and it's really helping a lot!!! The vet said it's okay to give both. Mom has to go to the store AGAIN today for Midnight and buy her some food because her own mother did NOT! Ugh. Mom is tired of all this running around. She's only doing it for Midnight, not for her sister. Mom is using all her gas and money to go back and forth to the vet and run all these errands. Midnight is worth it though.
Finney and I have been zooming and booming all over the house lately. Playing like crazy. He loves mommy again and she's trying hard not to poke him anywhere, MOL. Big baby. I think that's all that's new here really. That's enough! MOL. We just want to have fun and keep playing and cuddling wiff mom! It's cold now!!! I guess no more days in the 50s and 60s for awhile. Pooey! I miss the windows open.
Wow, that is one scary neighborhood story! I hope Midnight's bacteria infection gets all better soon. Its good to hear you're doing well.
Mommy just had an acquaintance die of a heart attack recently. He was 55, only a few years older than mommy! He was not particularly health conscious, just a regular, normal-weight guy. A shock though. And he didn't hang on, either, just collapsed, ambulanced to the ER, died within hours. That's awful about your neighbor!!!
About Midnight, we're SO glad it now sounds like something that can be fixed. The sister is a JERK, let mommy just say it out loud as an expert in Family Jerkiness!! Now you have to watch the food and pay for expensive stuff - she should just give the cat to you officially! What's her problem, anyway?
Glad Finney is being a good boy!!!!!
I know F & L are such a comfort to you! Luv, Tink
If you only knew what mommy has to deal with Tink you would gasp. She's so disgusting and filthy too. Mom wants so bad to just blurt it out but doesn't want to cause more problems. ugh.
Hi Moppie! Nice to see you. Yes, my poor neighbor, how sad.
OMC! How awful about your neighbor:(
That would have been furry scary to see.
We will purr for him, too.
Glad that Midnight is getting the new meds, purrhaps it will be the 'right' one.
Hang in there momcat Lisa...your deeds are not be unseen...
Pipo & Minko
So sorry about the poor neighbor dude. BUT happy that Midnight is on the mend!
My sisfur gave up her puppy to my parents due to lack of time and I'd say compassion. I empathize wif sister jerkiness!
Hugs Henry and his hummin
PS Good Finney fur warming up 'cause santa Paws is watchin...
Glad your mom is taking care of Middy. Sometimes, ones blood relations aren't anything like our pawrents.
We are glad your mom is there for Midnight
We are sorry to hear about your neighbor. That is scary.
Thank you Pipo. Sometimes mom feels like she's alive only for everyone else. But she loves Midnight like she was her own and grammy and grampy adore her so mom does it all for her! That's not what bothers mom. It makes her mad that her sister holds such little regard for her pets. To her they are JUST PETS. Midnight is the last pet she'll ever have as far as mom is concerned. Henry it's too bad we have to have relatives like this huh? Thank you Ruffy. Midnight loves my mommy so much. She knows what my mom does for her and gives her so much luvies in return.
Poor neighbor! How horrible!
Look we are crossing our paws for Midnight. Gris did a wish list diary the other night and mentioned old friends stopping in for the holidays as a wish of mine. Look Moppie! I seen Blade on another diary. My wish is coming true! May Midnight keep getting better.
That would be pawsome Zach. We need some action around here, I miss all of our old friends!
That is so sad about your neighbor and scary too! Purring for Midnight and hoping she is doing well. Mom doesn't have siblings, but sure has a few other nuts on her family tree. We are really glad that Midnight has your Mom to count on.
Thanks Skylar, there's some in every bunch huh?
Sending your neighbor and Midnight purrs.
Your neighbor has a problem.....I am glad that the cats are not outside cats.
Midnight is one lucky cat to have you....I am sure that she will feel better with your care. Natasha had a difficult time with those meds. I can look up the one that finally worked for her. The vet had to keep her on it for longer that last time.
Finney is finally feeling better....it may have been a tummy upset and he had to blame someone. I found out that each time Natasha changed her feelings that it was due to her physical well being....
Glad to see everything is settling down a bit....
He's not sick he's a little brat! He's behaving this way again just because I had to do all kinds of work downstairs yesterday. I am spending all the time I can playing with him and Lacey and everything. I can't coddle him every time he gets mad.
