Hi everybody, thank you for the DDP! Can you do us a favor and purr for our cousin Midnight who lives downstairs with grammy and grampy? She's not feeling well at all. She's got a slight fever and a UTI. Mom is being a great nurse, she's syringe feeding her food, she's giving her sub q fluids and Clavamox. So we're hoping that by tonight's second dose of Clavamox she feels a little better. But the poor thing is peeing clear blood. She's prone to these so we've been through this before but it's been awhile. Mom is on it immediately and got meds from the vet so we just need purrs and POTPs now if you can!
Her fever seems a little better than it was even an hour ago so cross your paws please! Thank goodness mom has grammy here to help her. Grammy is a pawsome nurse and because Middy loves and trusts them all they can help her with all this stuff. It's warm here although the temp has gone down since last night.
At 1 am we have the windows open because it was 61 degrees and humid! We didn't mind actually it was nice. It's been like this for a few days now. All this warm weather is messing up mom's plants! She has daylillies popping up out of the ground and her lilac trees and other shrubs and trees all have BIG BUDS on them! They think it's spring. This'll mess them up bad. That happened a few years ago when we had a super warm winter. Oh well!
Thanks everyone, we'll keep you posted on cousin Midnight!
Sending lots and lots of purrs to Midnight Lacey!! I hope she feels better soon!
Enjoy your nice weather. Mom was just talking yesterday about how she doesn't think it's going to snow this winter, and when she woke up, there was a blizzard and lots and lots of snow! She jinxed it! MOL!
OH NO!!! Oh blech! Well, we had our HUGE blizzard in October remember? So I don't think it's coming here, they said on the news we don't have any of that coming. We had a really big rainstorm last night, it POURED for hours! We'll take that any day. We even had a few rumbles of thunder.
Concats on your DDP and we are gonna purrrrrr like mad fur Midnight!
Purring up a storm!
Purrs for your roommate, Lacey!!!
Thanks guys! It seems to be working along with my mom the nurse. Mom has hardly been up here all day. Been downstairs syringe feeding her, giving her fluids and just plain love. She's looking better tonight (knock on wood) and her fever is down. Let's hope it stays that way! Phew! Mom and grampy and grammy were really worried. Dec. 14th of last year is when cousin Moufasa passed away. Mom said NO MORE DEATH around here! She forbids it! So hopefully crisis averted. Midnight is purring right now and sitting with grammy looking very content.
Lacey dear, We've got your back in purrs. Poor Midnight.
Oh and congrats baby doll.....CAKE!

It's okay Tully, it was a happy day because mom got Midnight feeling better and paws crossed tomorrow will be even better than that. Mom is happy when she can help a kitty, any kitty! But especially one that's right in front of her. It was a year ago on the 14th of Dec. 14th that we lost Moufasa so mom just keeps praying that we don't lose Midnight too and especially not NOW. Jeez!
Thank you for your purrs & love Tully and Kally Kat! We love you too! You can all enjoy some of the cake that Zoe brought, I'm sure we can get some more.
Concats on your Diary Pick today! Zoe, your cake is delicious. Lacey, it is sweet of you to share with everybody. We will purr our Get Well Purrs for Midnight!
Thanks Skylar! What good is having something yummy like cake without having your friends there to share it with?
Oh, btw, I had the zoomy bagoomies this afternoon! MOL. I went kooky!!! I had mom laughing in between running up and down the stairs to help Midnight. Finney made us laugh last night. For some reason he likes to zoom out of the box after he goes pee pee. Last night he did one of those things where he skids around the corner on one foot and then keeps going. It was hysterical!
Hi Lacey I would love a peace of that cake too, congrats on your DDP and know we will purr and pray too, poor baby those nasty UTI's cannot be fun, glad your mom and grandparents are there for her.
Hi Booboo! Long time no see! Sure sweetie, have some cake. Oh poor Middy was just so sick this morning! Mom says it's unfortunate she had to learn what to do for sick kitties by having Alex be so sick but at least now she knows to snap into action right away.
Hi Lacey I know it has been furever crazy how busy mom is. Yea it is too bad that is how your mom had to learn but Midnight is sure lucky to have your mom by her side. Mom was thinking on her way home from a late night at the office, about taking care of skids as she aged and alley while she was sick, and sadly wonders how it will be (hopefully many years from now) for all of us we are all very close in age, 6 ageing kitties would be like a kitty ole folk home MOL and of course by then mom will not be a youngest either.
Good luck to your meowmy! That's all we have to say, MOL. I don't know how people with large kitty households do it.
Hey, just a side note to Booboo. Tux's diary was titled "here at the old folks home" Just because of his age and living with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma and Grandpa didn't appreciate the title at all. MOL!
MOL Diamond I cannot see why they didn't appreciate it :)
Lacey thanks mom feels like she will need it when that day comes, She never had a big kitty household till now, all the other years it was only skids and before that maybe 2 kitties max. it's gonna be interesting.
We are purring for Midnight! our purrs are very loud and will be loud till we know she is better...we hate UTI's!
We send hugs to you all....oh yeah tell your Mom we are sorry to hear about her flowers...it has been warm here too, but then we really don't get that cold and we don't have seasons.
hugs and love to you all
OMC!! Meowmy missed your DDP! Oopsie-doopsie! She was supposed to be off today...but they asked her to go in to her work...so then when she got back in, she furgot all about it...
We hope you enjoyed your DDP!
We will be a purring and pawyering fur Midnight.
Pipo & Minko
Sending Midnight purrs.
Our family will keep Midnight in our purrs.
Sending purrs to Midnight that she continues to feel better.
Belated concats on your DDP!
Thanks for the great purrs everyone! She's having a MUCH better day today and is eating very well on her own thank goodness. NO blood since yesterday so whoo hoo! Hopefully these meds take care of it. poor baby, even though she's really an old lady. MOL. She's getting so slow, her joints are bothering her a lot too. sigh.
Purrs for Midnight! I hope she is feeling better today. did I miss your ddp? oops! sorry! belated congrats!
It's okay Toki, I don't care about that, it's just nice to see you. Yes she is!!! She's not bleeding anymore and she could have eaten more this afternoon but she ate a lot in the morning and was eating some tonight. Also, this afternoon she wanted belly rubs! That's ALWAYS a good sign!
We are purring big time for Midnight. Poor kitty. Being sick is no fun. Please get well soon. Belated concats to your DDP, Lacey.
Sweet Lacey we are purrin' for Midnight up here at the Bridge. I told Platelicker and my PurrFamily to get their motors running for Midnight also... they are :)
soft angel huggs,
Hi Mietzi and Raincloud! Thank you both so furry much! Raincloud I hope you had a nice birthday up there at the bridge. I know Alex wanted to celebrate with you.
Midnight is doing a little better today. She's getting slow in her old age poor thing. But mommy bought her a cute little bed today and she LOVED it! She was adorable, she went right in it and kept coming out to eat, then going back in. She fell in love with it right away.
