Ingen update!October 10th 2011 2:44 pm[ View A Comments (16) ]
Just got an email from Jen! All is going GREAT with Ingen's trip! The driver said that Ingen has been eating and meows a little at first while driving but then settles down. She also said that Ingen is a "real sweetheart". (which we all knew anyways). The dogs don't seem to be upsetting her at all. They were in Montana this morning so all is going well!!! We're so happy and so glad! I hope this company turns out to be a great recommendation we can all use if anyone ever needs to in the future.
Hey Lacey. That's such a great thing that Ingen is going home. And for your Mom, Physical Therapy is something we believe in around here. Can't wait till she feels better. Mom is all for it! She's all for ANYTHING that will make her feel better, she's sick of it. She can't wait too. She had plans in early Nov. to join a gym around here so she wouldn't have so many of her usual problems with her fibrmyalgia during the winter. She's going to ask the doc and the pt people if that could still be a possibility. We're so relieved to hear Ingen's trip is going well! That is great about Ingen....Hope that your back feels better soon because we will have snow again before you know it. The seasons pass by too quickly. I haven't been here much in the last three weeks. My nephew passed away so we have had a houseful. Alex, my younger cat, has enjoyed the company and attention but there were people coming and going. It does help to have family around but quiet time is needed too.....Natasha is doing better and taking her pills well in pill pockets. I haven't had to give her one by mouth so she is fine with me. She is eating well and looks good. Now, go put some ice on your back, feet up and no lifting those cats no matter how much they beg......take care of yourself....... Oh Sharon! I'm so sorry about your nephew. I know he's been battling cancer for a long time. May he finally rest in peace and his spirit be free. Please know you can email me if you need to talk. So glad that Natasha and Alex are doing well. Please don't mention that awful snow word. YOU KNOW how much mom hates it, MOL. Let's hope us New Englanders don't get walloped again this year. Take care sweetie! You should keep doing all you're doing - Mom's been through it all and you never know what's going to work for each person. Te PT people should have you on equipment for exercise. That replaces working out for now. You should get their "blessing" before joining a gym, but yes, we get SO sedentary during the winter & that makes everything worse. Can't wait till that moment when we hear Ingen is home. That will be a very joyful moment for sure!!! Luv, Tink & Snow Thanks for the update on Ingen. Sending purrs to your Mom! I posted a link on my homepage of my site to see the receipts for Ingen's expenses. www.ibdkitties.net (for those that don't know it yet, MOL). Anyways, I thought it important to post the information since there was so much money donated. I posted a link on my homepage of my site to see the receipts for Ingen's expenses. Yesterday was purrfect, 83. Looks like you had the purrfect day today. Purring for your Mom's back to get better. Hugs, TK Me too Timo, there's NO way I could do it. Oh it was beeeeeautiful here today. A few years ago, meowmy couldn't type fur us, cause she had 2 surgeies on her hand, and she got (Had to have) PT fur it...it helped a lot! So yes, they can help you a lot, and give tips on how to stay out of the pain zone. Thanks for the Ingen mews, too.
