Hi everyfur! My mommy and I would like to thank everyone for their kind words, love and support and PATIENCE with us during this whole ordeal. It's been furry tough. So much has changed in such a short time, it's like that full moon solar eclipse last week came in and swatted it's big hands all over the place! Mommy's other best friend called last night to tell her he got laid off from his job. He's furry mad, he was told his job was secure but as you know, there's no such thing anymore.
We's glad your Moms doing betters!! Can't wait for the MJ/Finney Pawty Saturday!! Luvs, Pumpkin Your mom's uncle sounds like a man that was very loved and respected in the community, a trail of friends and loved ones that will miss you must be the very best thing we can leave behind. So heartbreaking to hear about Jim's mom we purr and pray time will help her heal, mom told dad about her tonight, and how hard must be to move on in life without your "better half" Please give your mom lost of love, nuzzles, kitty massages and just plain on kitty cuddle time, as I know you will, that helps our moms and dads so furry much when they are feeling down. So looking forward to the party. Thanks Alley, of course my aunt is also very distraught but she's a much stronger woman with 9 kids of their own and a bazillion grandkids. They are baby making machines. So I don't know if she'll let it all out now that it's all over or what. They've been keeping her busy and when mom talked to her over the weekend, she was just all over the place and talking too fast so we hope she's able to get some rest. The respect and love for both of these men is tremendous which makes it all so bittersweet. They made the best mark on this world that anyone could make. They left a long legacy of love. Can't wait to see you at the pawty! We want to be with all of our friends and just have a great time. We's jus' glad to hear yer mom is gonna be ok. You & Finney takes good care of her cuz she's a good mom. She needs all yer luff an 'fection cuz it make her feel better. Is all we kitties can do--luff our peeples. We will Ingen, you gonna be there Saturday night? I will try but Jen been soooo busy an not pay 'nuf 'tention to me lately. I wish I have fumbs, den I don' needs Jen to play ona 'puter. I just heard I'm gonna miss the MJ party since my people are going out of town! This stinks! Oh well, pawty on in my absence! These two men may no longer be with us, but never forget the legacy they left. It is a precious thing to hold on to. Sounds to us like they lived full, rich lives that will live on in the hearts of everyone they touched. Hugs & whisker kisses... Very true Colette and like I said before. You can measure a man by the friends he has and these two had MANY. WHAT? Jezebel! Oh no, that stinks. I'm sorry you can't make it. Next time I hope you can, there will most likely be another MJ party on his birthday in August. Oh Ingen, come on! No excuses. That's so funny. It really has no agenda so it's true. I think this will be a difficult summer because this is always when mom goes over to talk to her uncle and sees him every night on the swing while she's watering her flowers. It's been like that for years and years and years. Now suddenly he's not there anymore. Tough to get used to. Sending oodles of hugs and comforting purrs to your Mom. I'm SO sorry you had to go through all this, but it does learn us a good lesson in how to live our lives. Joy will come. I'm drooling at the thought of a truckload of trout - uh, I mean "cabbage"!!! I think funerals are like weddings, unless you have been to a few you don't what's good and bad. The human here, when her mother died she felt like she was on a travelator standing still dumbfounded and in a daze. As she passed everyone while standing on the travelator they would be telling her what she needs to do and how it should be done. I suppose things turn out depending on what advise you are given. Unless you do have your head screwed on or have thought about it before hand. I hope this helps. Glad all this is finally over! Now Finney and lacey can help start making your heart happy again!! I hope the rest of the summer is MUCH better for all of us. I hope whatever is going on with your mommy gets better too. If she needs to talk, we're always here okay? We sure understand! I called you Finney- sorry Lacey. I got confused and thought it was his diary. My mom is ok just frazzled, but her boyfriend (I like to think of him as The Man Who Introduced Me To Popeyes Chicken) is having some troubles. It will be ok though. Thank you- it's awesome to have support. Trust me Toki, we know about frazzled. Mom has had a lot of trouble concentrating or thinking this past week. It's been furry tough and she's been sleeping a lot and going in her garden to try and relax. |
