Hi everyone! Can you please purr hard for our furriends in Mexico? Little Jerry and his sisfur Princess, and their family. My momma is very good friends with their momma, Diana. And things are horrible in the city where they live in Monterrey. That used to be a safe place to be with all this drug violence and killings going on but not anymore. They're scared for their lives. They don't have money to leave Mexico but may have to flee. Diana hears gunshots right outside of her house every day and they have a little boy named Alef. She's scared for him, for all of them. Here's a first hand news report on how bad it is there:
You got it, Lacey - they'll be in our thoughts and mom & I keep a list of kitties that we pray for every morning after snuggle-time. Hope everything works out for them! Luv, Tink Oh Lacey, he is cute. Mom worries for anyone who gets caught in the cross fire down there. What a horrible way to live. We will be praying with you. And when I say we, I mean all of us, including the dog. Thank you Tink and Zoe (and the dog, MOL). We really appreciate it. We're furry worried because she hears gunshots outside of her house and we sometimes think, how will we ever know if something happens to her? Suddenly we just won't hear from her and that's it? It's awful to think about it and we hope that never happens. Lacey, I am sending loads of purrs their way. I purr that they will be safe, and that peace will come to their home. The news that we hear about Mexico is very scary. They will be in my thoughts. Love, Siggy I'll be purring for them. It is terrible what is happening in Mexico. Thank you Siggy! Boy, we're both on late, except I'm on Eastern time so it's 1:30 am here, MOL. I really appreciate that. There city of Monterrey was not having too much trouble until recently and now it's just pure bloodshed. We love you guys, furry much! Thanks Jezebel! Shoots, there's a kitty here on Catster that is furriends with us who's from New Zealand and we can't remember who it is. I hope they're okay! They just had a really bad earthquake tonight. Oh we are worrying about everybody! We are purring for them in MExico Mr. D!!!! Thank goodness! I'm so glad you posted here. I hope you're all okay there in New Zealand. Awful to see all that damage and people who are hurt and killed. It is nice to hear from you Mr. D.! We worried about you guys all day too. We were going to drop you a note after checking all our messages. Lacey we are sorry to use you diary but I had to say Hey to them. Oh, and we are still purring and barking here for your friend. I know waiting to hear from her is probably nerve wrecking. Hang in there. Zach, it's perfectly okay to use my diary! I know lots of kitties are worried about Mr. D and his family so don't give it a second thought. We're just so glad they're okay! Oh no that really furry scary we are purring and mom is praying for them and for your mom's peace too. So sorry that I'm late to reading this. But I am sending all the purr power I can to your friends and everyone in Mexico. Mexico is such a beautiful and wonderful place, I just wish there wasn't all this violence and horrible human stuff going on. Purrrrs for peace in Mexico. It's NEVER too late to purr for peace Gumpy!
