Guess what Meowies! I'm Cat of the Month on Meowing out Loud! Which is purrfect for me really because that's all I ever do! MOL! What an honor and so very nice of all my furriends there.

It's still cold here and we're still sick of it. As I'm sure everyone is. Mom said her skin is itchy and she's sick of wearing 3 layers of clothes! She's had a hard time sitting at the compuper lately and trying to concentrate to work on our website. She gets lots of headaches and right now her sinuses are KILLING her. I don't know why those sinus things would want to hurt my momma but they better cut it out or I'm going to meow even louder! That should make my mommy feel better...NOT! MOL!

Oh Jeez! I almost forgot to talk about the neat Valentine I got from Gentleman Jack. Oooh boy is he a handsome boycat! Finney got a little jealous but I live with him so it's no biggy. Anyways, thank you handsome Jack! I love my valentine!

In other news, you know how we just lost our cousin kitty Moufasa in early December? Well at first his sisfur Midnight was having a grand old time, enjoying her freedom from all the bugging her he used to do. Not anymore. She's very lonely, she's not eating, losing weight and doesn't seem to care anymore. My momma is trying everything she can think of. She's giving her an appetite stimulant pill and trying hard to get her to eat. It's breaking momma's heart because she's still very sad about Mouffey. He was a real character and was super funny and talkative. Sigh. Seems momma's heart is always breaking. I don't know how it stays together sometimes. Hopefully it's me and Finney keeping it glued.

We've been cuddling with her at night on her warm bed with the electric blanky on. Nice and cozy. She loves that. She stares at us and tells us how cauuutttte we are. We flip over on our backs and let her rub our bewwies. It's all we can do for her really.

Please purr for Midnight, mom is trying her hardest to help her and grammy and grampy adore her. Thanks everyfur! Hope you have a pawsome day.

We are purraying for Midnight, and for you all! This seems like such a long winter! Everyone's SICK of it! We haven't even had a major smowstorm like usual, but the nuisance ones every few days combined with all the cold snaps is TOO MUCH! We just have to hold on - this is the hard part. What you do for your mom makes a big difference - she'd be so sad without it!! I know without me, my mom wouldn't be able to STAND it - it would be way too quiet, and......ORDINARY! We LOVE it that you are COTM - it was your turn after Finney's big week! Luv, Tink

Keep purring you guys. Mom got Middy to eat some raw liver and ground raw veal. Now she just ate half a can of Dave's seafood. Hopefully she'll eat some more later.

lacey; conga ratz two ewe on yur cat oh de month a cheese mint...and we be sorree to hear about midnight; her is going thru her grieving process N sadly only time will help her overcome this....dunno if it will help but may bee kaci sunshine can offer some advise; her had a terruble time after mittens went ta de bridge....peace out n rock on with hugs two :)

Thank Tabbies. I don't think Kaci can be of much help because her momma says she's changed since Miss Mittens died. She never stopped grieving! Sigh. It's so worrysome.

First of all, concatulations on being the cat of the month! It sounds like you deserve the title!

We are so sorry to hear about Midnight. It's sad to hear stories about kitties grieving for a lost sibling or furriend. We will definitely be purring and praying for her. We hope her little broken heart mends soon.

You and Finney are the glue that holds your momma's heart together. I've heard her talking to my mama about the two of you and I know she loves you both so very much. Keep taking care of her the way you do and she'll feel better. Your momma is lucky to have you two in her life.
