Pawsitively Meow-Worthy

An eye for a paw!

So yesterday we had a few little mishaps around here. I was laying down next to momma's chair while she worked on Alex's website. I will usually sprawl myself belly up and look as cute as I can. So mom took her toes and tried to tickle my belly not realizing I was very, very sweepy! It startled me and I jumped and clawed her ankle pretty bad. She looks like someone took a knife and slit it across her leg. So sorry momma, I really didn't mean it! She knows that, she was okay after cleaning up the blood (again momma, so sorry). Then last night I snuck into her clothes closet while she was changing into her jammies and she thought me and Finney were both out but nope, I hid in blanket in there and 2 hours later she finally let me out. Was that payback? She says no and she was really upset because I came out very hot and wondering what the heck I did! I tried to tell her I was in there but the air conditioner was on and she was way in the living room. usually I have a very big mouth and yell about the darndest things, mostly just for the heck of it! She didn't hear me this time. I wasn't very happy when I came out but when I finally forgave her 1 hour later (I can't stay mad at her), she smothered me with kisses and I was back to walking all over her and sticking my bum in her face LOL! Then I did something extra cute. I got on top of her dresser, stood on my hind legs and started petting Alex's picture. She practically started crying. What for? I was having a serious discussion with Alex, we do it all the time! Mom hardly sees that so I guess it was a special moment. Silly mommy! We kitties don't ever really go away and we can see Alex's ghost! I tell you that all the darned time! Sheesh! Then we had big thunderboomers and me and Finney go especially berserk when there's a storm. We don't hide like Alex did, we love it (at least for right now). We go running around the house and plowing into stuff. Our grampy and grammy downstairs says it sounds like we're moving furniture! I think that's an exaggeration but momma says when she's downstairs talking to them, we sound like a herd of elephants. What's a elephant?

Gosh, you sure keep Meowmy on her toes, don't you Lacey? We sometimes draw a little unintended blood around here, too. One time Tully ran across the bed while Mom and Paw were sleeping and accidentally scratched Paw's face - a good one, too, look like he'd been knifed! (sorry Paw!) And the herd of elephants we definitely know about, except Mom calls us stampeding buffalo.

Never a dull moment with us kittehs, that's what I always tell Mom. Glad you and Finney are keeping your Meowmy's life "interesting" - MOL!

Love, Lukey

Hi Lacey,
Maybe it's a tuxie thing, but I don't like human feet and have grabbed my mom's on occasion (even though I'm the sweetest boy!), but usually not with blood involved! Your momma knows you didn't mean that...I'm glad she discovered you in that closet. My momma thinks the way we kitties furgive is so wonderful!
Haha, I walk all over my momma, too! And my sis and me sound like a little herd sometimes! Us kitties are fun, huh? Like Luke said, "never a dull moment!"

Hi guys! I'll have to tell my grampy about the stampeding buffalo thing. I'm sure he'll agree that we sound like just about any large animals up here. LOL! Me and Finney definitely do keep momma on her toes. Just tonight Finney was trying to cuddle with mom on the bed and I get jealous sometimes while they are kissing and I do something to make him jump off. Tonight I closed the door on them, LOL! Boy that makes mom mad. She tells me to come up on the bed too and join them but I prefer to cause trouble. Maybe it is a tuxie thing. Then she took out a big paper bag for us to play in and as I was sniffing it, Finney snuck up on me and I jumped about 5 feet in the air! Momma laughed so hard she almost blew soup out of her nose! LOL! So one minute she says I'm a pain in the butt and the next minute we have her laughing really hard. Go figure! My grampy and grammy love to watch our videos since we never do these funny things in front of them. Oh and today also mom was on the phone and me and Finney were playing and I jumped on her desk and the computer and whoops! I shut it off. So yeah, lots and lots of stuff happening around here. Glad we're not the only ones! Maybe we should form a new club! Tuxie Troublemakers, LOL!

You know mom was like "oh my god, I have enough to do!" But then she's been thinking and she kinda likes the idea! Finney is in that orange kitty thing that I can't be in! Pooh on you Mr. Floofy Pants! LOL! Maybe it would be fun! I sure have enough stories to tell and get into trouble daily so it wouldn't be boring that's for sure.

Luke and I have been looking for a tuxie group to join that has active members - all the ones we joined in the past are kind of dead, there is no one posting there anymore. Sammy belongs to a couple of orangie groups and Natasha belongs to black kitty groups, I say us tuxies need to unite!

If we weren't already admins for a couple of other groups, we'd think about starting one ~ if you do decide to start one, let us know, we'd love to join! I bet Gumpy would join us, too :)

It's weird isn't it? Mom started an IBD support group on another site and even put a kitty link thing on almost every page of her website. She has only had about 25 members in almost 6 months and NOBODY posts anything! It's been since May or early June since anyone posted anything. Nobody even introduces themselves and asks for help and that doesn't make sense! This is to help sick kitties. She's even posted all kinds of things to draw them out but nope. She says it's like pulling teeth from a dinosaur. She's getting ready to close that group, why bother! But she's seriously thinking about the fun Tuxie group thing. We know plenty of Tuxie's and it could be really fun. We'll definitely let you know!

Oh yeah, I'm in for the tuxie group! I didn't join some of the tuxie groups because nothing seemed to be happening. It's weird how some of the groups have little activity, while there are some with lots of active cats and things happening! Hard to figgur...

Tuxie love,
