Hi all! I have had an eventful week. As some of you know I was trapped behind my mommy's stove the entire day on Sunday while strange people were coming in and out of our house, making a lot of banging, pounding, scary noises. The plumbing had a leak that was in my mom's bedroom closet going downstairs to grammy and grampy's kitchen. It took 3 days to fix completely! Instead of running behind the couch like I always do, I decided to go behind the kitchen stove and hide. I was there all day and mom didn't know it. By the time she found me it was 8 hours later and I was scared, dehydrated and very nervous. I hadn't peed or pooped all day, I needed water like a camel and I wanted my mommy bad! She felt soooo bad. It wasn't her fault, I never did that before so she had no clue. If Finney hadn't come and put his nosey there so much she wouldn't have known I was there stuck! All is fine now, I'm okay.
In fact I have been pet of the week on another website! Not just cat of the week but PET of the week! Whoo hoo! If you go here and scroll down to the bottom, you'll see my cute face playing peekaboo: PET OF THE WEEK. It's a cute site, we made some nice friends there and are helping a lot of kitties with IBD and other stuff. Anyway, I thought I would show off my picture and award! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Luv Lacey wacey bug
Glad you got outta there, Lacey Wacey Bug! I didn't know you were trapped behind the stove. I hope your mom wasn't doing any cooking while you were there. All those noises sound bad, I hate that stuff. Concats on the Pet of the Week! Go Lacey!
Hi Gumpy Goo! Nope, it was the day all the stuff was going on with the plumbing. Or should I say the FIRST day. So mom wasn't cooking nothing, she luckily just ate a sandwich for her lunch. She thought of that though and really felt bad. It was a noisy and high traffic week here. Finney through up on mommy's pillow while we were left in the living room, MOL. That'll teach her.
Conga Rats!! ( for you, Tabbies)
But it should have been here!!!
(hint hint cotw lady!!)
MOL, I like that. Oh and yes, I am the only one in my furmily that has never been a Catster COTW.

Congrats to you Lacey....Pet of the week...You deserve it. We all get stuck sometime. I sometimes just hide when I want some time alone. Did you get some extra TLC when you were found?....I bet that you did...Please say hi to Finney for me and Juliette...You can always find her behind me..
Alexander thank you for the beautiful gold heart! I love it. Yes, I got lots of kissies and hugs. Mom was kind of freaking out worried about me, MOL. Jeez mommy, learn to look everywhere! I'm glad you love Juliette so much Alex. Can't wait to see new pictures of her.
That happened to me on Thnksgiving one year. Mom thought I was in the bedroom with my food & box & someone let me out & I ran under the couch in the basement. With all the people here, I was under the couch all day. Of course I let her know all about it the next day, but she felt so bad. Glad to see you 're pet o the week!
ps cute pic!
Thanks Maizy and Tigger! Silly mommy's need to watch us better, MOL.
congrats on potw....awesome pic of you.....you poor thing behind a stove all day, strange peeps in your home....sure hope you got lots of luv and treats...
Thanks Harley sweetie! Oh I did. I definitely got treats and kissies.
Oh my, how scary. You poor girl. I think your Mom needs to cook you something super nice now on the stove. Salmon or a steak just for you.
So that other website, can you only be on there if you're smelly? Mietzi thinks I smell.
Whoops, I furgot to say Congratulations on your Smelly Pet of the week award. Pawsome. I bet you're smelly because you were stuck behind the stove, with the dust bunnies.
MOL, no Timo. I certainly don't stink! I smell lovely! I don't know why they named it that actually, kind of weird name.
Sexy photo you had there no wonder you were pet of the week. Congratulations.
MOL, thanks Annie!
That sounds traumatic, Lacey. I'm certainly glad you're out from behind the stove and all the racket is over with. Mom's worst nightmare is that one of us will flee in terror when repair work is being done (the repair peeps don't always close the door properly). It happened once. Fortunately Mom was home and saw the open door, counted noses and saw that Onyx was missing. She found Onyx strolling down the cul-de-sac next to our house, no doubt trying to find a new, quieter home. Now we all get locked into a room or on the porch while repair folk are in the house.
P.S. Your picture is adorable.
My sweet purrdy Lacey!! Concats on yer pet of the week. You be MY pet of the week EVERY week!! Very glad you got outta behind da stove! That be a scary place.
Jasper that's all mom could think of when she realized I was behind the stove all that time. That I could have run out the door while it was left open. She doesn't want to think about what would have happened. That must have been scary for your mom when Onyx did that. Who can blame her though! Lots of noise!
Hi my sweet baboo!! Mmmwwwwaaaaahhhh!
Onyx and Jasper need to know outside isn't all it's cracked up to be. It be rainy and cold and no food and no scratching under da chin. World be a cold cold place. I like to stay right here and cuddle with Lacey!
Awwwwww, my sweet Linus!
