Guess what!!! The orthopedist called with a cancellation for tomorrow morning to give my mommy the steroid shot in her back! Instead of waiting until the 14th, she goes tomorrow morning! Please purr for her it goes well. She's a little nervous but mostly excited to get it over with.
oh MOL Lacey me and my family will be purring and praying for your Mom tomorrow for her to feels so much better and especially to keep her safe on her return trip home... Mom says your Mom will be her in thoughts and prayers too... hugs Xena and family MOL, thanks Xena and family. I know it sounds funny but mommy SERIOUSLY hates to get in the car with grampy. I'll be sending your momma purrs. We will keep Mommy in our purrs all day tomorrow. Not just for the shot, but for the car ride too. (Sounds alot like my grand-mother in law!) We sure hope she gets relief, it worked really well for our Grammy! oh! Good luck to your Mommy tomorrow! Be purrrrfect kitties, ok? and take cares a'her! My grandpaw is an awwwful driver-I thank the ceiling cat that I nevfur had ta drive with him! MOL! I think it might just be old me. old stinky men who snores and stuffs I wish that she could hold your paw while she got her shot.....I hope that it helps her back. I had the surgery and it fixed the problem. Can she ask them for a pill for the ride home? She must be getting muscle relaxing pill. Motrin helps too. I wish that we lived closer and I would drive you there and back....By this time tomorrow, it will be over and hopefully the back will be better.....Purrs are being sent her way..... Thanks Skylar! Mom really needs to hear that. So far everyone she's talked to said this shot REALLY REALLY helps a lot! MOL Kitty P. Yep, grampy is old and stinky fur sure but he's still a horrible driver! Oh Natasha, we wish that too! That would be much better for meowmy than grampy going with her. Oh well. Mom still has plenty of her pain pills. Remember how the other docfur wouldn't even give her TWO? Well this one gave her 30 of them and mom has only taken 5!!! So BIG FAT POOPHEADS to that other dumb doctor! MOL. Um...there are always taxis, MOL! That driving hazard sounds like our 'Opa' He drove like that, too, and meowmy would grip the edge of the seat furry tightly! MOL! We hope and purray that things will go well fur your Mom, and that the result will be blessed *relief*! What did I tell you about the full moon! Mom's uncle, the one with MS, he just died. RIGHT NOW. He just died at home. Sorry. We are sorry to hear that, Lacey. Pawlease accept our condolences. Thank you Zach and Pipo & Minko. Mom's eyes are really leaking hard right now. Sometimes you just gotta do things you'd rather not. Let grampa drive, it's just for the times you CAN'T. Make sure you're belted in and make him drive as slowly as possible, so if he gets in an accident it won't be so dangerous. The speed limit AT MOST. Be sure to go ahead with the shot, even though you might want to cancel. You'll need it to get thru this! Someone will sit with Gramma, or she might appreciate a couple hours to herself. Maybe a neighbor or a relative could keep her company. Just don't back out now! Luv, Tink So sorry for your loss. You are right Tink. I wish mommy's sister that lives here could get out of work tomorrow. Then she could take mom and grammy and grampy could stay here and relax or go and do what they have to do! Oh and besides that, grammy has to go for blood work in the morning! She's got all kinds of pimples and stuff driving her crazy on her head. Her skin is so dry. And she has a sore in her nose that never heals. She's SO SO SO SO stubborn! She's been like this for a couple of years and just as soon not tell anyone! She finally broke down and called the doctor. Jeez! Mom kept bugging her and bugging her but it's no use. She's just as stubborn or worse than grampy is. Thank you Rufus, we appreciate it. Lacey's mom here: I'm so tired, I JUST got back. It took FOREVER! The shot only took less than 15 minutes. We were there for 3 hours! My poor parents are exhausted and I fell asleep in the chair several times. I’m going to eat something and go to bed. So far I feel a little better. Knee is still throbbing but the whole thing didn’t hurt. Just felt pressure when he put in the injection, felt it go down my leg but other than that it was fine. Easy. So if I end up having to do it again (which I hope not) but if I do, I won’t be nervous. But next time they can leave and come back and pick me up. Jeez! MOL. But I'm home and I'm fine!!! Just wanted to let you all know it went well. Luv you guys! Lacey here! And btw, grampy almost KILLED them on the way home! OMG mom was almost pooping her pants in the car! I'm not kidding. She said next time she will take a taxi, probably be safer!
