Dumb, stoooopppiiiddd bird!!! A pigeon crashed into one of our porch windows this morning and broke it big time! Glass everywhere. That pigeon must have gotten itself eaten by a hawk because there's no body and no blood. Just feathers as far as the eye can see. What a thud that was! Sheesh! Glad that old hawk took it somewhere else this time. Last time it ate the little birdie in our yard right in front of mommy!! I could hear mommy shriek before coming in and saying "gross, ugh!!, blech, pooey!" Frankly, I was lickin' my chops and wondering if I could have a taste. Mommy said no way, that hawk would eat ME for breakfast. No thanks then, I don't want to be chewed up by a giant birdie. I'm too handsome for that. Although I did yack up my lunch all over my tower today, sorry mommy!!! MOL. Those hairballs have a way of coming up with my food. Not very tidy but what can I say? I need to get them darn things out! I'm one floofy, poofy, hairy dood!
Finney, too bad that you didn't get any bird to eat as your after-thanksgiving meal.
That's the way I get rid of furballs too. Eat lots of food really fast and then yuck uuck uuck blawk. Tee hee hee
MOL Timo. Yeah, that hawk or whatever took the stooopiid bird too fast.
Congrats on getting rid of your hairball!
Thanks Teebo! Mom wasn't happy about it but oh well! MOL
What a strong bird to break a window!.....I can't imagine that fight that occurred between the birds...Glad that you were not around especially with the glass....stay safe this season....
What a dumb bird to fly into a window!
Alexander it was a pigeon, mom could tell by the feathers. It must have been trying to get away from the hawk but basically they are too quick.
Whoa, exciting times at your house!
Those hawks are mean flying catchers...they swoop and snag what they desire with out hardly missing a wing beat...poor pigeon...but purrhaps it was unconscious from that knockout hit befur hawk got it...I hope! Sorry about your window, though, sheesh! One more thing...
Lucky for us this is a storm window and it's easily fixed. It's at the hardware store now and it should be ready tomorrow. It's really cold here too so we need it back quick. That hawk must have got it quick because there was no body and no blood, just A LOT of feathers.
