Okay, not making light of this whatsoever! First and foremost we purr and hope everyone and their furs are safe and sound! We were thinking if everyone is okay, that is, we can name some songs that have to do with the earth shaking, moving, things sliding, etc. Hope this is okay and again we HOPE AND PURR everyone is safe and sound!!!
Where was the earthquake centered Finney? I hope everyone is fine. :) Tigger name some songs!!! MOL. It was actually all the way in Virgnia and DC. Blizzard got the brunt of it but it was felt here as well. FUN, FUN, Fun!!! "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" Tigger, it was centered at Mineral, Va at 2:19EST... I can't think of of a thing! Shake, shake, shake, your toshie MOL, I hope everyone is ok and everything is good. Purrs Sam Rock and Roll never forgets I wasn't alive yet, but Mommie went through the 7.1 Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. That was something! Does "Rock you like a Hurricane" count?? mol!! "Shake me" by Cinderella Evacuate the Dance floor by" Cascade" "Landslide" Fleetwood Mac Good Vibrations by Marky Mark Why am I getting double posts? silly fleas!!! Shadow you're not refreshing your page are you? You can't do that, it produces double posts. You have to reclick on the diary title or wait until you get it in your email and click there. These are all so PAWSOME! This is a cool game. Oh I loved Marky Mark. Sexy!!! MOL Don't rush datv one, Shadow, that's this weekend!!! How bout another brick ( Fell out) in the wall Great ones guys and gals! Sway by Michael Buble (We weren't shaking in Boston, but the buildings were swaying!) Everything is okay Hamlet? oopsie daisies yes I was refreshing the page, I was checking my itunes list of songs, mol! Marky Mark is too hot!! I agree!! my fav.. "Shake it UP" The Cars Yep, Mom is stuck in the 80's! Feel it in my Bones by Tegan and Sarah Louder than Boom by Tiesto Tigger, we're fine. Just doing a little East Coast Swing. MOL. Not-the-Momma felt the quake at his house, but no one felt it at Momma's work. (She says that's proof that she works in a bunker.) OH we love the Cars. We gots their greatest hits CD. Great ones everyfur, this is fun! Hamlet we saw that on the Channel 7 news here in NH! Yikes!!! Imagine being in the Hancock building (is it still called that)? and rocking back and forth! Hamlet!!! Is that from Boyz to Men? The East Coast Swing? Rock your world by Michael Jackson Nothin Shakin (Beatles) Run for your life (Beatles) Tori Amos ---- Little EArthquakes Tee hee Shadow!!! You know we love MJ. So look up at our list, it's the last one. MOL! Glad to see you're thinking of us. Hey, his birthday is coming up on the 29th! Ooooh Skittles good one! Mom used to love Tori Amos. Little Earthquakes is great! You guys are all really good at this! oopsie daisies again, mol!! We wuv michael too :) I never get emails from catster, In dont have that checked of I guess on my account settings. Wait...we got another one... "Shakin" by Eddie Money Finney, I guess East Coast Swing is a kind of dance, but yeah, Boyz to Men mentions it in Motown Philly. Yup, love that Eddie Money song. Shadow you're kidding? You should set our preferences so you can get email notifications. Then you have to remember though to either check or uncheck the box when you post a reply. But it's easier that way. THAT'S the song Hamlet, Motown Philly. Ok thanks Finney all done. We love Eddie Money too!!! Yes we stuck in the eighties too, but we love all music!! Got another AC/DC song for you . . .Shake Your Foundations. What about "Shake Your Money Maker" Was that a song, an album title or maybe both? Was in the Black Crowes? Yup! that's a Black Crowes CD title Skylar. Good one! Isn't it funny how AC/DC seems to have a lot of song titles like this? Good One Hamlet!!! thats cause ACDC Rocks our world :P Joshua fit the Battle of Jericho...and the walls came tumbling down... Jack & Jill went up the hill...and Jill came tumbling after...maybe an earthquake shook them down, MOL! Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall..Humpty Dumpty had a great fall...cause an earthquake shook him off... Obviuosly meowmy doesn't know any songs, really...MOL! And her brain is tired out! And we are having a big thunderstorm right now...BOOM! Be careful Pipo & Minko! Don't stay on the puper if it gets bad. MOL, Pipo!!! How about combining the two issues with "rock you like a hurricane" Sorry I'm late. Mom had to run to walmart. Lacey, we still call it the Hancock (not to be confused with the Old Hancock), but then again, we still call the new Garden, the Garden, even though it's been through several names since it was built. Don't forget Shake a Leg. And if we're going with the rock theme and not just shaking, we also have For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) & Let There Be Rock. Jack "Back in Black" Matt P.S. Momma says she does NOT have The Jack, whatever that means. *shrugs* I hope we're not Thunderstruck by Hurricane Irene. Hamlet I can't imagine ever calling it anything BUT "The Boston Garden". Remember the uproar when they renamed it the first time? MOL. That's New England. Loyal to the bone. Ooh I like the Rock you like a hurricane plus I love that song. How about Neil Young's Keep on Rockin' in the Free World!? MOL Jack. We used to think that song was so funny when we were teenagers and that album first came out. Shake, shake, shake Shake, shake, shake Shake your bootie! I was going to say Rock the Casbah, but somecat already got that one. How about Rock Steady? I think those are both 80's songs. We had an earthquake in Michigan in 1986 (that sounds weird not saying 2000 something). Mom remembers she was in college and was sitting on a bed and it moved back and forth and shook. It was freaky until she heard there was an earthquake - she thought maybe the room was haunted. MOL. Hi Gump! Meowmy remembers that quake, too...she was in London, Ontario...and all the hangers in her closet were rattling, the piano started to have its own invisible player, and the cups & saucers in the buffet were dancing a bit. Totally strange feeling, the first quake meowmy ever felt... Good one Jezzy and Gump! This is one of those games you can always think of more song titles. Earthquakes do feel extremely strange don't they? Not having your balance and watching things move on their own is freaky! Meowmy had a little bit of woozy and dizzy again last night and wondered if it was because of aftershocks. Come to find out right around that time, they had a good sized one, 4.6 I think. Ooh I have another one!!! When the walls came tumbling down by John Cougar Mellancamp. Housequake by Prince. It's an album cut, but worth checking out if you're a Prince fan! Teebo, I'm there! I hope you got to hear my Prince playlist a month ago. |
