OMC! WOW, 2 DDPs in one week. We haven't been anything for awhile now, this is furry pawsome. And you want to know the BEST thing? We woke up to find our bestest furriend in the whole world Blizzard is cat of the day! He is such a pawsome guy and so deserves this. What a terrific 4th of July gift for him.
Finney - Congrats on DDP - Again! MOL!!! We'll leave you some of the Tabbie's fishies, but we are clean outta zealies, man! Hey, it's it great about the Catfather?! Don't worry about the zealies and stuff. Your friendship is all the prezzies we need! Tabbies fishies are better than zealie prezzies anywho! MOL. Nom nom nom. Oh, big hugs, Finney! Well seeing as how we had those 2 losses in 2 days it's only right that the universe do something nice in a couple of short days. Right? Tell me bout it!!! More today!!! Hey, on the subject of zealies and fishies, we'll have to send an express to the Tabsters to tell them to get fishing, since Catster has taken away the SHARE THE LOVEs! We are gonna need LOTS of fishies! The storm sun am hit the re-inactment campground in Gettysburg, lightning hit the flagpole, and hurt 5 peeps!!! ( theys ok, just very minor hurts!!!) Gettysburg bout 10 miles from here! Oh that's terrible! I'm glad they're okay. Ooooh mom would love to go to Gettysburg! She wants to see all the ghosties there. Happy DDP and 4th of July, buddy! Yeah, we understand about those BOOM BOOMS! Some neighbors of ours usually start booming a week or more before. But this year, the one neighbor we think moved away, and Mom was surprised there hadn't been any booms and explosions. But last night someone did start booming. It scares us when it's right outside. It's great to celebrate Independence Day, but some people go a little overboard with all these explosions. Have a great day, Finney Winnegan... Aw Finney, I hasn' gotted no 'wards er nuffin ina long time but I nefur gets upset if my furriends doesn' send prezzies. Lotsa times I can' send prezzies, wif 4 of us sharin zealies. I nefur unnerstan's why is sush a big deal, fur sumfurs. I likes gettin prezzies, but I 'rites my di'ry fur ME (well fur Jen cuz she furgets EFURTHING). I goes back sumtimes an reads it an it r'minds me of stuffs an furriends. I reads uvver's di'ries cuz is fun. Is not a CONTEST. I LUFFS my furriends an hearin da mews. Hopes yer mommy feel better. Is no fun bein sick & tired alla times. Ingen furgot to say CONCATULATIONS!!! She is sush a scattered chatter box. Hi Ingen, we're not upset about it. Just nice to get it once in awhile but no, our friends and having fun is what's important. Hi Gumpy, yeah, everytime one of our bad neighbors moves, another one comes and takes their place! I don't write one regularly, but I make it a point to read my furriends' and comment. It brings us all together and we discover all the things we have in common!! We don't have random boom-booms because fireworks are illegal in PA, we only have organized, licensed displays, so it's reasonably quiet because we're right in town, where they'd easily get caught. Everybody complains about these laws, but it sure keeps a lot of drunk morons from setting them off on every block!!! Concats on another DDP, and we were really happy too, to see our buddy Blizz, and his Booboo, on the home page!!! Luv, Tink Hi Tink, You know, they are illegal in Michigan. We've always heard there are places in Ohio that sell these boomy things - but Mom just read they are illegal in Ohio also. I'm not quite sure where people get these larger boomy things....but they are illegal. Mom never thought about calling to report these people, but I guess she could have. It gets so nerve-wracking when people set off these things. We used to do sparklers and smoke bombs and snakes and small stuff like that growing up. The small ones are legal, but the big explosive ones aren't. I wonder how many people get in trouble for that? My grandpawrents have a neighbor that puts on a real fireworks display (they're more in the country) I don't know where he gets those either...Hope you have a good Independence Day, Tink! Agree with Ingen! Hey, Gumpie! The big BOOM-BOOMS are SUPPOSED to be illegal here in MI, we know, but the Mama says there sure are a bunch of people setting them off in our area! Sounds like a war is going on, and it lasts for about 3 days! It's part of the reason the Papa was on neighborhood watch, 'cause even if there's nothing else going on, there's always the risk of fire. There is a big organized display, though, every year in the village - they had that one on the 2nd this time. And we like to read and comment on people's diaries, too, but we ESPECIALLY enjoy writing them - MOL! Unfortunately they are legal here in NH but the ones from last night sounded just like a big cannon going off right over the house! Congrats on being a DDP! HOORAYS and HAPPY RIVER DANCES for Finney! They come and go at odd times now. It's only 5:30 pm and already someone just lit a firework! It's nowhere near dark! It was one of those that sounded like a loud, giant fart!!! MOL Scared me actually. You know that sound when you let air out of a balloon really slow? That's what it sounded like. Dey gots bout 2 hours here b4 de NEXT round of storms comes thru!!! (Course, SOME crazy fool will STILL try to light them off!!! MOL!!! Won't bees able to tell thems from momma natures!!!) Some fireworks just went off here & it scared the tar outta Meomwy, MOL!! We's all were looking around like WTC was that!! MOL, did it sound like a loud fart like ours did? MOL Concats FINN on bein' chosen DDP again!! Whoo hoo!! Pal listen, we know's all 'bout bein' busy 'n stuff 'n mommy is tired lots too! We had a grand weekend wif my Paw here 'n he jus' left so not much time on Catster. Mom will haz to take more breaks also, it's gettin' her down too. 'N today spent way too mush time in da hot sun!!! Wrong thing to do! No firewerks here, nice 'n quite but lots 'n lots of barbeque grills goin' 'n lotza food!! It's great! As you guys are talking about lightning and fireworks, Mom said a year or two ago we had a fireworks show here and there was a thunderstorm in the middle of it. She said it was so cool!! My finest can of Tuna for you Fireworks are legal here. So we have heard fireworks and gun shots all weekends. MOL!!! When mom lived in St. Louis, she had to stay away from the windows on Jan 1 & July 4, because locals would shoot off their handguns!! Oh good lord. Why people feel the need to shoot guns off is beyond me! Hey Zach! Very cool can of tuna there. Never mind giving me zealies. I said it before and I'll say it again, I want YOU guys here with me and my furmily. Thanks Finn. for understanding. I think people use the 4th as an excuse to get their guns out and shot them. Diamond has been a nervous wreck! Geez, just heard a firework, it's 10:43 pm!! Anyway, Diamond was so upset earlier she tried getting in the shower with Mom to hide. Mom is going to get her a Thunder Shirt. It was tested on the local news channel and they said it helped. Didn 't cure the anxiety but helped. Tink, I understand trust me. MOL! Mom said she has seen her own grandfather pull out an old pistol on the 4th. She was a nervous wreck herself. Old guns tend to backfire. Has either one of you seen "the Mexican?" A guy died from a falling bullet in the head. Concats Finney!!! And you look so cute in your fourth of July picture!! Congrats on the DDP! Hi Tiger Lily! We haven't seen you in a long time sweetie. Thank you Jezzy! Zach, people are nuts! Plain and simple. People in other countries are always getting killed by falling bullets from their own guns! Ding dongs. Wow, finney!! Lots of excitement the last week!!! Panda's kits, Zach DDP, Yous with 2 DDP, Panda with 2 DDP, Tundra, COTD, Then mees, now Tink!!! Zoe and Lacey are probably feelin left out!! I am Blizz, boo hoo hoooooooooooooooo! MOL! Just kidding. I've gotten lots of DDPs and honors. Alex on the other hand hardly gets anything!!! Jeez! SNORK! We's didn't hear any loud fart ones Finney, MOL!! SNORK??? Hrumph!!! Ya I stole your SNORK! What ya gonna do about it! Did you get Zach's message last night? After you went to bed. Yea, Zoe!! Sometimes wish the english language was more precise!! MOL Pumpkin. You know last night we didn't hear any boom booms at all! Everyone was AT the fireworks on the river. But I bet tonight and the next couple of nights we do. Good thing it's so hot we have the a/c's on. At least that helps drown out the noise. Maybe, one of us ought to write a diary about it. Call it "the English language is a dodo I". How hot is it Finn? Ya, the AC is nice!! Actually we's had a lot of fireworks going off in town even during the bigger fireworks which take place in a wittle town 15 minutes away. The BIG fireworks are illegal to set off in Illinois unless yous are licensed so mostly just sparklers, stink bombs, small bottle rockets, etc were going off. Haven't heard any today. |
