My son brought Oreo home the week of Halloween back in 2004. She and her brother, Stripes, had been dropped off in the country and were barely alive. They immediately became part of the family. I had to feed Oreo with a bottle but Stripes was a little stronger. Still we all struggled for several days to keep them alive. I held them close to me because I wanted them to be with me if anything happened to them. Thank God, they made it. We had not had any cats since our children were little, so it was a big adjustment at first but one we have never regretted going through. Unfortunately at ten months, Stripes passed away while having surgery. My husband and I cried like babies. He sat down that night and wrote a poem for both Stripes and Oreo. We miss him very much. Getting both of them was the beginning of a new life for us. Oreo is so sweet! She is really a "mama's girl". As I write this, she is sitting at the foot of my bed. She is never far from me. She so special and so loved!

HELLO EVERYONE. MAMA IS DOING A LITTLE BETTER ABOUT GETTING ON CATSTER. SHE IS TRYING REALLY HARD TO DO IT EVERYDAY SO SHE CAN CONGRATULATE EVERYONE. SOME DAYS SHE GETS SO BUSY SHE CANT GET ON, BUT WE WANT YOU TO KNOW WE ARE ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT ALL OF YOU. HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING OK. IT IS REALLY COLD AND DAMP TODAY. HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GOOD DAY.

I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF YOU WHO DO NOT REMEMBER US. WE USE TO BE VERY ACTIVE ON CATSTER AND THEN WE HAD A LOT OF SICKNESS AND THEN SIX MONTHS AGO, I OPENED MY OWN CANDLEMAKING BUSINESS. THIS HAS PRETTY MUCH TAKEN UP MY SPARE TIME.
I HAVE MISSED TALKING TO YOU LADIES!
ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS, WE HAVE SAID THAT WE WERE BACK AND THEN SOMETHING ALWAYS HAPPENED. MAMA IS GOING TO TRY HARDER THIS TIME TO BE ACTIVE. WE MISS YOU GUYS.
