Last week was a rough week for both me. I have finally retired after many years of having kittens. I was spayed....no moe kittys for this old girl. The vets office said I had a little bit of a rough time due to all the scar tissue and I was under longer than had been expected. I am doing great now and feeling good as new, ripping around the house and playing with my dog, "Gidget".

My parents pulled a fast on on me. They had tried to get a collar on me for over a month because they were worried I might get outside and become lost in my new neighborhood. Well, I wanted nothing to do with that old thing; what girl wants a thing like that messing up their hair? Can you believe they had the my vet put that thing on me while I was put out. Like I didn't feel bad enough after surgery anyway...couldn't do a thing with my hair for a couple days and here was this thing around my neck. I just refused to talk to them or have anything to do with them and finally they caved and Meowmy took it off and gave me extra treats to make up for it.

I think I am going to love retirement here at the lake. I am still checking out the neighbors and I don't think I really care for that racoon thing that hangs out looking in my windows at night, but other from that it seems to be okay here.

"Gimme" is settling in well with her new family. She love her new cat tower and watching all the birds and squirrels from family room windows. Her favorite new toy is "Gidget", out little Papallion dog. They love eachother.

"Gimme" is meeting our neighbors and is beginning to become more social as she adjusts to her new surroundings.

Since she is now retired from being a mother she has surgery scheduled to be spayed in a couple weeks. We belive she will enjoy her new pampered life.
