Arrival Story:
Minx was born into a litter from a queen I rescued here at home. At the same time, we rescued another queen that showed up with Minx's mother. The queens gave birth a day apart, and Minx's mother abandoned her litter. Luckily, queen two took them all in as her own. Minx has a big family!

Bio:
Minx has been tested and has the Feline Herpes Virus, as well as Colici Virus. This virus is normally only brought on when the cat becomes stressed. It presents flu-like symptoms that are easily controlled. Minx's only issues seem to be occasional sneezes and runny eyes now and then. Her condition does NOT require medication, only in the event that a cold or flu becomes an issue. For the most part, the vets allow the cold to run its course, barring no complications such as pneumonia. The virus is contagious during an "outbreak" so it is perferred Minx be in a one cat household, or a household with other Herpes positive cats. She is not damaged goods, and is a VERY affectionate cat. This is the 7th litter we've rescued, and we raise them all to be very much "people" cats. Feel free to ask me questions about her, or the virus! There are several small things you can do to keep it at bay, and she really is just a normal kitty that needs a home!
