Bea is my special little rescue cat. I volunteer at a summer camp for foster kids for one week out of the summer, and every time we would walk by this certain area, this scrawny cat with a bald tail would come out and beg and rub against everyone's legs for food. I am a complete sucker and started feeding her at night. I vowed that if I could find her on the day we left, I'd bring her home. I was able to find her, she came when I called. I got her into a box and in the car. I was petting her in teh box and looked at my hand, there were TICKS all over - she had hundreds of them! Luckily they dropped off quickly, we literally gave her a bath in a bucket - she didn't mind too much. At the vet they said she weighed 3.75 lbs! But with some TLC she started growing her hair back and is still such a sweetie!
