indoors Arrival Story: Bear was living under my brother's porch outside with his other feral buddy- a calico when we discovered him. My brother would feed the two of them and try to pet them. Bear was much more skittish than his calico friend and would run away if anyone approached him. After awhile the calico stopped coming around, my brother figured someone took him in, being the more friendly of the two. He continued slowly approaching Bear and gaining his confidence. He asked me if I wanted a kitty- knowing I love them. I came over and watched the feeding and petting process. The way Bear would sneak some food - allow us to touch him briefly- then run away. I fell in love with his sweet look and wanted to protect him and give him a better life than he had. I could tell he loved the petting as much as the food, but he wouldn't let on. Nowadays he rolls around on our carpet begging for belly rubs. He is the most loving and laid-back cat I know. Lives Remaining: 7 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
