Arrival Story:
my cousin had 3 cats and 2 small children and decided that she needed to give one away (a cat, not a kid). my mom took her in, but started dating a guy that HATED cats. on a visit home from college, my boyfriend and i met jinx for the first time and fell in LOVE with her! we're both allergic, but somehow she didn't bother either of us. when we found out that my mom was going to give the cat back, we told her that we just HAD to take her back home with us after i graduated from college. we scooped her up on the way home from college and brought her to new york to live with us.

Bio:
jinx is what we call a "stoner cat" because she's the most laid back, mellow, cool cat ever. neither of us were ever cat people, but jinx is just too fun! she just hangs out, chases her tail, sleeps, and plays with anything that makes noise. she's so mellow that on the few occasions that someone has stepped on her tail, she just kind of looks up at them like, "whenever you're done, i'll take my tail back...but no rush!". she's not really a lap cat, but she's starting to be more loving - we think she was scarred from living with 2 little kids and 2 other cats, and is just now settling in to her own space.
