Sunny Days

Too meowy clouds, too meowy clouds, and now the SUN! Yay, I can feel the warm sunbeam through the window! I love napping in the sunlight with Dixon in morning and afternoon. I'm hoping that human mom will carry me outside for a few kitty minutes.

Thanks everyone

I want to thank everyone for all the well-wishes and nice purrsents that have been given to me for my special day! I love my flower, heart, ribbon, beachballs, flag, and even a drink--hmm, wonder what's in it?--I'm so excited! I tried to send everyone a message to thank you all. I hope I didn't miss anyone. My already nice day has been made even better. Thanks again, my kitty friends!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Ah, another year has gone by, and I am 10 years old! Actually, my Human Mom doesn't know my true birthday, as she rescued me from the outdoors without knowing my kitty history. I won't reaveal my true birthday--it's a woman's perogative, you know--but I will say that HM's guess is close! I plan to celebrate in style with a special dinner made by Fancy Feast! Mmmmmmm.

Toy time

I have been feeling very frisky. I'm having lots of fun playing with my feather ball toy. Then I get tired and take a nice nap. A kitty's life is good.

Noisy machine

Human mom has been pushing around a very noisy machine back and forth over the soft floor. The machine is wet, too. I don't like it at all. My delicate paws get water on them and may get dry. Then I'll need a paw massage. I wonder if hm will give me one? Hmmm. Meow.

Feeling good

HM took me to the kitty doctor during the warm weather, and I heard them saying that Dixon (my son) and I are healthy. They want me to lose weight, though. HM has me on something called "light" food, and I think it is forever. She has fed it to me before, but usually switches it back and forth with other food. I'm trying not to be too lazy. Now in the evenings, I chase my tail for fun and exercise. HM seems to like that, but Dixon looks at me as if I'm crazy. I don't know about this younger generation of kitties.

I'm sort-of sick

I have been sick for the last few days. I'm throwing up a lot. I still want to play and hang out, but I keep making sick piles all over, many times a day. I heard human mom say she will call my doctor in the morning to find out what is wrong. I hope we can fix this, so she doesn't worry. Keep your paws crossed for me.

I am in trouble

Human mom is mad at me. She was eating dinner outside and I talked my son Dixon into opening the heavy door for me, and I ran outside and hid under the wooden porch. I came out when she called me, but now she gets upset if I just wait by the door when she is outside. I know I messed up, but I still want to go out. It is hard to behave.

Toy

I surprised my human mom by batting a jingle ball toy around. She looked happy to see me playing. Now I'm relaxing at the window. It's been a good day.

Too much fur

It's getting warmer, and my fur is coming out in bunches. HM can't brush me enough. Last time she got 6 balls of fur from the brusher thing. I like it so far, it's like a massage, but I know pretty soon, I'll get tired of it and run away when she wants to brush me. I will be glad when I get rid of all this extra fur, and can feel cool and comfortable. Dixon must be uncomfortable too, because he has been crabby. I don't think he likes to be brushed, usually he runs away. It's time for an evening playfight, so I'll close for now.
