I am sick

A few months ago, I went for my check up, and I had lost a lot of weight. I have hyperthyroidism. Mom was going to have me treated with radioactive therapy, but I was not a good candidate. I was on a special diet, but then I stopped eating. I am just not hungry. I now have kidney disease, too. I don't know why I do not want to eat, but I have lost 4 pounds in a year, and Mom is worried. She offers me all types of food, but I mostly just nibble. I still want to run and play, and do everything I always have done. I hope that my doctors and my Mom can figure out what is wrong with me so I can get better.

Stealing a little food :)

As you all know, my kitty son Dixon was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. He is on a special diet, and is doing furry well. While he finds some of the food a bit, ahem, unimaginative, I must disagree. I have sampled his new fare, and find it to be quite appetizing. Mom does not want me to eat his food, however, and chases me away from it with exasperating regularity. *sigh* I think she doesn't want me to eat Dixon's food, because he needs it, and it IS furry expensive. I am still benefiting from his diet, though, because, mom has been giving me a little canned food, which she doesn't do furry often. It is so yummy! Mom spent some time brushing us, this evening, which was furry nice. I'm thinking about taking a nap on the clean clothes pile. I wonder if I'll get away with it. Hmmm. ;) =^..^=
