Arrival Story:
The Kitten was about 8 weeks old outside in the woods behind our apartment, alone, lost and crying. She was very skittish, but also looking for help--a neighbor scooped her up as she darted by and said, "Ahh, her eyes are infected--there's a clinic that will treat her--I can take her, or you can . . ." I begrudgingly agreed to take her in just until she was nursed back to health and we could find her a good home. 13 yrs later she's still here!
