Feeding time at the barn, meeting me at my truck when I arrive to feed
Kimmie, being held, when I'm late for feeding time
Favorite Nap Spot:
Friskies Ocean Fish
She talks a lot, awesome mouser, laying in my way when she wants attention
If you've read the other stories of my "Cat Family" you know that the kitten's mother Sheba (nee Snickers) was adopted along with one of the kittens by a friend of mine. Dusty was her cat, she had rescued her from a shelter. Well, Dusty doesn't like living in a house. Any time she would be inside, she was crabby and unsociable. So when she adopted Sheba and Roo, Jane gave me Dusty to be my barn kitty. Since then Dusty has been SO happy. She's like a different animal. She's friendly and will jump in my lap to cuddle if I sit down in a chair. She talks my ear off and is very adamant about being fed on time. She loves when I drag a piece of baling twine down the aisle for her to play with. She is very aloof to Kimmie, but hopefully we will find a home for Kimmie and they can stop yowling at each other. Dusty will meet me at my truck and walk me back when I leave. Heaven forbid I actually lock her in the barn so she can't get out when the weather is bad. She really, really likes being an outdoor cat.
I don't really know Dusty's birthday, I just celebrate when Jane brought her to my farm. Dusty enjoys laying in the sun sleeping and following me around the farm like a dog.
