Arrival Story:
My beloved 17 yr old cat, Mr. Kitty passed away recently - I was (and always will be) heartbroken but decided the best remedy was to adopt a new cat. Mr. Kitty was a Ragdoll-Tabby mix and had so many of the wonderful Ragdoll personality traits, which led to my decision to adopt a Ragdoll or Ragdoll mix. Within a week, I found an ad on Craig's List and adopted Jack.

Bio:
Jack is adapting very well to his new surroundings. He spent most of his first day here, under the bed - later in the evening, he finally emerged and did some exploring in the other rooms. It's been nearly three weeks and he continues to come out of his shell - playing with Oscar for hours, sniffing the dog, following me from room to room and sleeping on our bed every night. I was a little disappointed to find that unlike most Ragdolls, he does not liked to be picked up or held - this may change over time but even if it doesn't - we love Jack and think that he is a great addition to our family! UPDATE 5/21/10: Jack is just incredibly sweet natured and very loving. He is a real doll! We love him more and more each day!!
