The new me!

Guess what...I am now down to 13 1/2 lbs!!!!!! That is a whole 5lbs. less that I weighed when I came to my new home. I can even clean all of myself now. I feel better and I still get treats so all is good.

It's a losing game!

Well, I went to the vet yesterday for my annual physical and guess what? I now weigh 14 3/4 lbs!!!! Whan I came to my new home a year and a half ago I weighed 18 1/2 lbs. I can now breath more easily, jump and play more freely! and I feel much better! Maybe I should teach my skin mom a thing or two... she could lose some weight too! MOL

Down another 1/2 pound!

I went to the vet for my shots and a physical. They weighed me and I have lost another 1/2 pound!!!

1. do you ever wake your parent up in the night?
Occasionally I wake her up if she sleeps in and I want my breakfast!

2. do you ever tear up things?

I have been caught clawing the sofa. Now I have a scratching post in front of it.

3. what is your favorite treat?

Anything! I get hairball treats and Chicken treats but mostly I get my dry kibble as a treat as I am trying to trim down.

4. can you fetch something when asked to do so?

Are you kidding? I am a CAT not one of those obnoxious dogs!

5. have you ever lived any place other than where you live now?

Yes, I arrived at the shelter too small to adopt out. I had to be bottle fed. My first Mommy (RIP) saw me and immediately fell in love with me. She put in an application to adopt me and anxiously awaited the day when she could bring me home. I lived in luxury with her for 9 years. She went through 2 bouts with cancer and when she died last February, I moved into my new home. Now I am adapting to some changes: I don't get to eat whenever I want to...I have to live with DOGS...I get to live with the sweetest cat Mr. Nigel.

On my way to SVELTE!

I went to the Vet today and guess what? I have lost 2 whole pounds! I am down from 18.5 lbs to 16.5 lbs. Only 3 or 4 more to go. Have I suffered for beauty? Not really. I can't eat at will like I did in my former home but my new mom does give me snacks almost every day so I feel special in spite of my deprivation. I feel much better too. I can now jump on the arm chair! I get my exercise by chasing the dogs hehehe.
