Hi, to all my wonnerfur furiends! I hope eash 'n efuryone o' U enjoyed bringin' in da New 2012 Year!!!~ It's been all pawties 'n catpagne 'n wine 'n candle lite dinner's 'n fun 'n excitement!! As it all calms down, we really love's to memmer all our wonnerfur time's we've shared wif our Furtabulous Furiends here on Catster. Thank's U..all!~

I only does da nips when I don't want to take the heartworm med, or its time to get my toothies brushed...MOL! Minko gives what meowmy calls love nips, when he's had enough pets...sheesh, I can nevfur get enough of those! Enjoy your spawsial Mommy time, Milo! Maybe you need to get that in a room with the door closed... Purrs! Oh Milo, I'm sure your mommy has enough loves to go around fur all of you! Taffy used to chase and bite me...and he would let mommy hold him in her arms like a baby fur ever! Me no, I don't like to be held, but I lay on mom's lap or belly and purr and knead and be all kinds of affectionate wif her. I knew she loved us both wif all her heart, and your mommy is the same. Mallee is a kitten still, even if she is big now, she's just gots lots of energy and is trying to find her place in the household. You'll always be yur mommy's blue eyed red headed baby boy. Purrs, Mugsy dood...all eye can say iz get used two it buddy....eye haz had ta put up with HER ( dai$y queen ...sew KNOT.....of cats ) for eight yeers now... N at times all eye wanna due iz go get a pass a port N ship me self over seez ta like ...well, eye dunno wear, but any wear away from HER......ewe knead a dood den buddy; yur own room with yur own toys N yur own bed N yur own tee vee N stuff sew when yur sister iz on yur last nerve ya can chillax N yur dood den......eye noe wear yur comin from buddy....trooly...eye due butter lover boomer o cat i am sorry milo. nellie is like too. when mom is paying attention to me and petting me. nellie get really jealous and buts in and wants to be petted too. makes me so mad. Believe me, we have the same trouble!!! Snow is getting BIG as me, and he treats me like I'm one of his TOYS sometimes!! He run up from behind and BITES me on the BUTT!! I try to run away, but he's really FAST!! I'm going to write a diary about it SOON!! Many of us are adjusting to kittens that are growing UP. We've found that it's a longer adjustment than we thought. Until they mature, they play HARD and SNEAKY sometimes!! It's not FAIR!! I am a whoos!! I hiss & growl BIG TIME to make him leave me alone, and when I get really LOUD he gets a time-out. Meanwhile, mommy makes special time for each of us - ALWAYS. He will try to come up, if he's NICE he can stay a little ways away and watch, but if he gets too close and tries to bite he gets put in time-out while I have special time. I know he loves me, but I haven't quite gotten used to the rough play. We play a little, and I still really want to GIT his extra-long tail!! MOL! And he IS pretty cute... We LOVE ya, sweet Milo!!! OMC Milo, I know exactly how you feel. Jasmine (Yes, THAT Jasmine!) is nine months old and a little holy terror right now. She is full of attitude and dont let her cuteness fool mew! She may be little but man she can bite and surprise attack with the best of them. Jasmine has mom so fooled and wrapped around her lil blue paw AND she wants to lay on moms chest! Doesnt she know thats MY spot to lay!? Jas does the same thing Milo with licking my head, ears & neck..then POWWW! She starts in on me like she is a lioness killing a wildebeest for dinner! AND mom wants her to be a therapy cat *Pete shakes his head* REALLY!? I'm going to need some therapy after putting up with her thru her kitten year...Sheeesh! Good luck dude, that's all I can tell you. Hen wasnt near as bad as demo-nite Jasmine *Pete laughs* Hey Milo, Have you thought about smacky pawing Mallee when she bites you? MOL! Thats what I did to that silly husky Shamook when he kept following me around in the backyard. I told him "BACK OFF SHAMOOK" and smacky pawed him on the nose! p.s. Dont listen to anything my whiny man cat brofur Pete told you.....you know how adorable & cute I am. Sisfurs! What you gonna do with them? Mine's a GREAT BIG PAIN in the tail sometimes, but I just loves her to pieces! i's gots 3. loves 2 of them, but doos nots like Miss Panda at all!!! All dat hissing gets om my nerves too, Milo. But, what cha going to doos??? just goes wit da flows, i guess Aw MILO dis is tuff stuff on count yooz be the BIG Brofurr & awl! Mommy still wuvs ya so mush, maybee dis will wear awf a litta bit from your sis Mallee. She's still a baby & gotta grow upps & maybee gotta go tew a Charm Skool fur gurls like dat lady Miss Manna's Mommy reeds inn hur noowspapah, bout mannas & bees propurr mol.... Once she bees settil down a bit I purromis yew its gonna bees ok! So, heyah iz sum xtra lubbs fur ya litta BIG man! Sendin sum ♥luvs♥ & kisses on ur boo boos! Me ♥lubs♥ ya MILO Aw Milo, not all gurls are like that!!! If I was your sisfur you could get all the cuddles you wanted. I might chase you, just for exercise of course but I would never BITE you.....Now because I don't have any siblings, sometimes I "accidently" bite mom.....don't know what comes over me. Gris is as big as Zoe now..well tall not wide MOL. I love the little rascal though. He's annoying but he's my little annoyer. Milo, give her a couple more months. Milo dude I feel your pain, we are lots better now but when Ivey first got here she chased me and I ran, dude I didn't want be near her and she took all my spots and my mom time,....it was awful! Mom made special time for each of us and she gave Ivey time out in her own room ALOT. Now if that cat gets silly with me, I just raise my paw and she backs off. Let her know you will lay her out. Milo My problem with Ivey is getting (and she aint no kitten) better she still chases me and I still run and it kinda stresses me sometimes, but now I just kinda hide when I hear her coming and the I am the one to pounce YEA! and she don't like it either. You gotta let her know how it feels to be harrresed in your own home. Oh my friend when Ivey cat first got here I tried so hard to love her cause I am so friendly and she ran me off and swatted at me and ambushed me and one day she got my nose so bad it made me bleed! Mom was so made with her and dad locked her up. Mom was ready to re=home that girl to a no-kill shelter. But with time I let her know I will not take that no more, if she runs at me now I stare her down and sometimes I raise my paw at her so she knows I am not kiddin. Sometimes MOL I come up behind her as she is going down the stairs and I pass her up and turn around to look back up at her and she stops now until I give her the right to pass. I know most of my family has been here and Ivey really had us all pretty PO'd in the early months but I never let her start with me Mile just tell her straight up with a low growl and HISS that you aint gonna take non of her nonsense. I told Ivey that from the beginning and even if she is messing with one of the others I run over there and let her know to back off. She is getting so much better, we hope you and her get better real soon too. Oh yea let me just say I agree with da tabbies you need a man cave, I would love one but I don't want mom to shut me in, so she shuts Ivey in a room that way the whole place is mine again. May used to sit on Sissy's lap awl da tym!! so i couldn't!! and she kept head bonking and used to act lyk Sissy's legs are only her asset!! and i have no ryt to head bonk her!! and yeah we used to fyt a lot!!! btw how's SAM?? dont seem to notice any grand-entries on his diary!!! I have a boy-cat who acts that way to me. So I don't think it are girls - maybe just younger cats who need to be shown who's boss! Oh Milo, what can I tell you. Our experience with the girl cat didn't work out.When blood was running down my chin for the second time~ that was it. I didn't fight back.I just looked at mom with my huge orange eyes. How could she let that happen to me? So it had to stop. Tink has some good advice for you. I hope you guys do work it out. Love and bonks Ollie So sorry Milo! Give it time, my sweet friend! One day she'll grow up and calm down. Meanwhile, Tiny Tot gave you and your mommy good advice. You need special alone time with your mommy every day and Mallee, who is still a child, needs a few daily time outs to teach her some manners! :) xoxo Kaci Milo, I think Mallee just needs more time, more growing up. She's still a little girl who has lots of kitten energy. I had a lot of energy when I was younger (not a biter, though). I don't think it's a girl thang; it's an individual thing and a young kitty thing. Hang in there, Milo! I think Mallee will calm down in time. I'm sure she thinks you are a wonderful blue-eyed brofur, but she's just having a little fun with you maybe... Hugs, Nadi Nadia's right!! Snow has so much energy that I can only remember fondly. I have slowed down, but he gets revved up and crazy, totally overexcited and is fast and sneaky. He gets in the "hunt" mode, practicing, and takes it a little too far. Like I said before, they target us because we move, and just JUMP! Mommy cleared out the top shelf in the closet for us, and often I can get away from him when he's too much by going up there. He usually will immediately be distracted by a toy on the floor and start GITing that instead of me. Sometimes he does chase me up there, but not often. The thing I hate the most is when he sneaks up on me when I'm sleeping and GITs me, mommy hates that too so he gets a timeout. But that's not often - he has the attention span of a gnat! MOL! |
