"When the Going get's Tough, the Tough Get Going"
Hi all, isn' it true? Seems like when life throws U a curve, efen when u least expect it, something 'clicks' inside 'n we realize life is a ride, 'n a Magnificat ride it is!~ When a situation is difficult or dangerous, strong peeps work harder to resolve da problems! Mommy is tryin' so hard to find dat strength.
Times r rough, shur, but dey been rough before 'n we jus' keep on purrin' 'n pawin'!~ If we make smart future choices, we can recover from dem storms.
Mom's been kin'a sad too, 'bout gettin' older 'n time's r lil more skeery, but I find dat mommy is NOT too old fur anythin' her put her mind's too! We'll always treasure our times here 'n pawppreciate our grand furiends who we all hold dear! Let's laugh 'n be happy, wif each day we all learn something.
Mom 'n me wants to share dis wif u also, so I believe it's HOW u look at things 'n a Good attitude is what will make our lives mush Better:
This is a story about identical twins. One was a hope-filled optimist. "Everything is coming up roses!" he would say. The other twin was always a sad and hopeless pessimist.
The worried parents of the boys brought them to the local psychologist. He suggested to the parents a plan to balance the twins' personalities. "On their next birthday, put them in separate rooms to open their gifts. Give the pessimist the best toys you can afford, and give the optimist a box of manure." The parents followed these instructions and carefully observed the results.
When they peeked in on the pessimist, they heard him audibly complaining, "I don't like the color of this computer ... I'll bet this calculator will break ... I don't like this game ... I know someone who's got a bigger toy car than this ..."
Tiptoeing across the corridor, the parents peeked in and saw their little optimist gleefully throwing the manure up in the air. He was giggling. "You can't fool me! Where there's this much manure, there's gotta be a pony!" ~ Author Unknown ~
Our Light shines on. We treasure life. We deal wif life, whatefur it brings. Tomorrow is not a given, but Today is a true blessing!
Love to all 'n to all many happy days ahead,
Purrs 'n head bonks o' love,
MILO

Yep you are right we can't change what has happened but there is no reason why we can't look at things positively. There are always folks that are worse off than us
If we were in their shoes we would love to have our lives. It's like those that hate their bodies (when they were young) then when they get older and everything goes south.
