Arrival Story:
I'm sorry to report that Me Me crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 14 Feb 2007. He had bladder stones, was severly toxic, and in extreme pain. It was the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time, to help him pass over gently. He is sorely missed by Moody and me. He was our buddy for over three years. Me-Me loved to go 'walkies' with me in the field across the road, after carefully looking (many times!) both ways at the road before crossing. I have planted a miniature red rose in his memory. Previous owners declawed him, then abandoned him to survive on his own. As manager, I was rounding up strays in my apt. complex for adoption and could not find a home for him. I decided that if he could get along with Moody (Top Cat), that we'd try letting him stay with us. It's been over a year now, and he's still here.

Bio:
At first Me Me acted like he couldn't get enough food, though he had been quite adept at catching birds and mice in spite of having no front claws. Now he knows he can leave something in his dish and will still be fed. Amazingly, he was calm and reserved when I gave him the first bath in the tub. He challenges Moody for all his spots, but neither fights about them. Laid-back Moody just lets him have his way, though there have been a couple teasing taps to see if he will cede some time on top of my scanner.
