Arrival Story:
Patty was rescued and brought to a SICAW adoption center. After just having suffered the loss of my "Little O" only 6 months before, I was not ready to adopt another cat. Patty was sick with a very bad cold and I agreed to foster her for 3 weeks until she recovered. We got along very well at home. I did return her to the adoption center when she was well but I could not stop thinking about her. I visited her at the adoption center and I looked into her cage and asked her if I should take her home for good. She reached out her paw from the cage grates and touched me. I knew I had my answer. I took her home that day and she has been such a joy in my life. She is a good girl - friendly, happy, and so loving. She purrs constantly and follows me around like she is my shadow. I love her! And, I am glad I took a risk in adopting her after suffering the loss of my other angels - My Yoda and My Little O.

Bio:
Patty was originally abandoned in a local high school corridor on St. Patrick's Day - hence her name "Patty" She has sure brought me good luck....
