Arrival Story:
His mom was given to a friend by his daughter when she went away to college. That cat went out and got pregnant at the first opportunity. I went home to my father's funeral and when I got back there were four new kittens. I got the biggest one. Like a good marriage, I just love him more all the time. He's a big pussycat.

I first met him when he still had his eyes closed and was just a little bit. He found the best milking station on mom and just kept growing. He didn't have name for a while because I wanted one that fit. I was hoping something from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats would work. Then, one day he was playing with a piece of copper foil from my stained glass supplies and he became Cooper. Fits perfect!

Hello Fellow Felines,

Well, it looks like the Big Catster Party is about to be over. It was fun while it lasted and we made lots of friends. I've been doing okay here in the beyond and Lottie and I will keep in touch by other means. All you other kitties, just purr in my frequency and we can link up and communicate. Unless, of course you are already in the beyond. In that case, just stop by the library and we can hang out.

In case you are wondering about the title of this entry: So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish is the fourth book of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "series" written by Douglas Adams. Its title is the message left by the dolphins when they departed Planet Earth just before it was demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, as described in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The phrase has since been adopted by some science fiction fans as a humorous way to say "goodbye"
I think it makes perfect sense, since what cat doesn't love fish?

It's been lovely,
All the love,

"My first Christmas, 1988. I found a mouse on the tree!" ~ Scooper

Hello Fellow Felines,

Happy Holidays to everyone! Greetings from the beyond where the eggnog is virtual but the love is real.
This morning, some of us were hanging out at the internet cafe cheking on Catster and Facebook and were delighted to see a photo of Scooter enjoying her first Christmas. Scootie Pie is one of our favorites around here. As her person notes in her profile, Scooter is a very lovey cat.
So it is a special treat to see her showing up on Facebook.

All the love,

Hello Fellow Felines,
Well! When my attention was elsewhere, I had my 30,000th visitor!
Thank you so much for your continued visits. I do apologize for not keeping in better touch with those back in that plane, but I am in the beyond now and have to keep up on my existence here. Those of us here like to take flights in formation by our various people to check in and see how everyone is doing and how any new felines are enjoying our people.
The Contessa Carlotta de Cremona has settled in nicely with my person and they are forming a nice bond.
My person still stops by occasionally where my body rests to say hello and think of me, so that's good, since she does not have wings.
I hope you are all well.
All the love,
