indoors Arrival Story: After 2 days in my new home, Mom can tell you that I am very outgoing, I have investigated every inch of the house and am not afraid of the dog or the other two cats. I keep hearing Mom say NO in that firm tone of voice and that makes no sense to me!! I'm just checking out the cords to her computer and the spray of silk flowers she has in a tall vase/bottle thing on her coffee table!!!! If it isn't for me to play with, she better put it away. MOL
Mom was looking at kitten pictures because she thought my human sisfur might want a kitten instead of a puppy. BUT, due to her allergy to cats, she can't live with one of us but she visits and plays with us almost every day. Anyway, Mom fell for me at first glance and thought I was already sold. She was sad but for some reason the sale fell through and Mom got a call saying he is available if you still want him. Boy did she still want me!!! She went and got me that very day! I am happy with my Mommi and in my new home. Bio: Bama was a shaded silver Persian, purebred and adorable as well as sweet. Bama loved everyone and wanted to play all the time. He was very stubborn and determined to do whatever he wanted to do. He was very sweet and lovable. We will miss him soo much.. He had been treated for the past 6 months for chronic cystitis. This suddenly turned into a blocked urethra which was opened once but didn't last a good 24 hours before becoming blocked again. That time he died on the table while being treated. I was with him, had my hand on him and his heart just stopped. He was not in pain at that time as he had been given an anesthesia for the catheter procedure and bladder flushing in every attempt to help him. He had become toxic, nothing we could have done would have saved him. Our dear vet tried cpr but there was no bringing him back. He was much loved, loved us in return just as much and had a good though short life. We loved you Bama and we'll never forget you. Rest with the angels Mommi had that are there waiting for me as you are now. I loved you all dearly. Forums Motto: I\\\'m the Roll Tide BAMA boy! My name is Bama Bear! That's cause my Mom and Dad love the Alabama Crimson Tide. I have lived in my new home 2 days and I know my name already. Mom says I am a very smart kitty. I live here with her and Dad, a Pekingese dog named Laci and 2 other Persians, Foxy and Buttons. Foxy thinks she is my momma and Buttons is a big scaredy cat!!! He runs from lil ole me!! Can you imagine that? Well, tonight he is letting me see him a little bit but not up close. That's ok, he'll come around. I know my way all over my new home and have explored every bit of it. Mom says she should have named me Columbus, cause I'm such a great explorer. MOL Well, I'll go to bed now, but I sure am happy to be here on Catster and in my new home. See ya soon with more of my adventures.
