Harry and his brothers and sisters were born in a garage. My son begged & begged to bring Harry home. He was covered with that lovely kitten coat--that he looked like a soft, dark gray velvet ball of fluff--so he was named "Harry".

Well, it's just loads of fun living with a geriatric cat! Harry gets up in the middle of the night and prowls the house. He can barely hear, so his "meow" turns into "MEEEEOOOOWWWW"! Pretty darn loud for such an old guy! The cats on the next block can hear him! But, can't complain--he WAS here first!

I am old. I don't quite know how this happened. It seems like just yesterday that I was a stray kitten. I was born in a dirty garage, just a little soft, grey puff of fur. Even then, I had such a LOUD VOICE! MEEEEOOOOWWWW! LOOK AT ME! My boy, Jason, begged and pleaded with his Mom & Dad. Please can I have him, please, please?
Now he begs and pleads, please, one more day, please, please? But, my boy, I am old. My body is failing me, even if my spirit isn't. To the very end, I will HOWL!! But, it is the end. You must not grieve. Do not mourn that it is over. Be thankful that it happened at all--that we had these 20 years.
We will be together again...I promise. I will wait with Moonshine on the other side of the Bridge. I will wait for you.
