Arrival Story:
Kitty was a stray in the neighborhood that I moved into about 8 months ago. She'd been a stray for at least 3 years. A neighbor who had been feeding her decided to stop this winter. So I started to feed her. After I found out she wasn't afraid of my sometimes animal aggressive dog, I decided to take her to the vet to get looked at and get the rabies vaccine. Figured I could get Roscoe and Kitty used to each other and have them both in the house. Vet confirmed what I had realized when I picked her up to put her in the crate.... She is pregnant.... soooo, long story short... I knew the kittens would never survive a night in NH so I took Kitty in my house and she's in the bathroom to be kept safe until the babies come. Roscoe is slowly getting used to her, so I'm hoping by the time the kittens are old enough Roscoe will be ok with cats.
